KPOM! I stated on that day that that was clearly a dodgy red card. There was no way anyone could interpret Ayinde’s challenge as reckless or dangerous play. Football is a contact sport, so every contact doesn’t equal a foul or red card.

O pari

M7even:
I'm currently watching the match between Morocco and Nigeria again. I'm looking at Ayinde's red card and I'm more convinced that it's not a redcard. Ayinde stood her ground while the Moroccan player ran in to intercept the ball, at that point Ayinde's leg was up in the air it was only natural that she finds the ground to place her leg as her eyes were on the ball which was in possession of another Moroccan player.

She didn't run in to stamp her feet like Ajibade's redcard or the over looked Moroccan redcard that was reduced to a yellow card. She was simply stand having her leg raised and the morrocan ran into her space.

Can we all now agree that Amaju Pinnick's administration is the worst ever seen by Nigerian Football?
No, not the best but very far from the worst

Football fans, very emotional. Suddenly his youth policies aren’t looking bad again since we qualified for U-17 and U-20 Afcon. If we make quarters at the World Cup you won’t see any comment again

I think it was that Laca miss though. But that pass from Alex was just wow....part of the reasons I was so sad when we sold him.

Sad Iwobi hardly plays a creative role behind a striker. His final passes are just sublime. That was what I first noticed about him.

You are just over the place. If you want to talk of versatility, systems also play a role. By the way, Saka is not a deep-lying playmaker and has no relationship with the point.

The point is simple. Deep creative role is highly competitive. Finito.
grin

If you don't get my usage of Saka, then it says alot o grin

I do not get you.

There are loads of deep-lying playmakers in Europe. Loads.

Manchester City - Rodri
Chelsea - Jorginho (Kovacic to an extent)
Arsenal - El Neny and Xhaka
Liverpool - Thiago Alcantara
Tottenham - Hojberg
West Ham - Declan Rice

It goes on like that to lower leagues. So, the competition is much and Nwakali needs to build himself to try to break in.

Come on, you must understand the point.

C'est fini.

And this move is not building. Simple.

Someone said this about Kelechi Nwakali, and I agree wholeheartedly, "Hopefully he stays off instagram, returns to his team on time, keeps his mouth shut and just focuses on balling out every game he gets. No more slacking! I think it’s fair to say that this IS his last chance to put himself in a better situation in the near future. After this I’m afraid it's India, Vietnam or Malta. Good luck to the boy!

I thought Falcons don't play well with Oshoala. How come they still didn't play well without her?

That woman with blonde hair na short one. He couldn't link the defense with attack.

Besides, the strikers were up to Oshoala.

But Pinnick has left the women u-20 team stranded in Abuja...Having them trek from their hotel to the training pitch...
World cup is next month, no quality friendlies in sign for them...

Why didn't you say this when they won against Botswana, Burundi and Cameroon?

I didn't watch those matches. I watch only two with high expectations due to those aforementioned matches but I was not impressed at all.

Oshoala is not the problem as many people here wants the public to believe. The problem is the midfielder that hardly control a ball or keep possession.

Nobody ever said Oshoala was the problem oga....The issue is that she has switched off form for the super falcons in the past few years... It didn't start today...

That's the point. Iwobi turned a 0.01 opening into a big chance that had Wenger crying for the miss.
