A friend of mine did biometric with me on 15june at Abuja TLS with Two dependants.... The two dependants have gotten there passport back 3weeks ago .... But the main applicant haven't gotten his passport, he sent a paid mail ..... They said decision have been made....but they have to excalate it to the concern office....


What do you suggest he should do please?

You can do it at tls paying 11k. It's important you have the bank statement included to make the work easier for the visa officer and don't forget to include the consent and sponsorship letters as well for the children

He should go to TLS and speak to them about it. They might have the passport o or might help him escalate from their end.

No. For you to pick a biometric date, you need to submit and pay for your application online. Your POF needs to be mature (at least 28 days) before you submit and pay and pay online.

I have gone through the first 10 pages of this thread and even the previous ones through the links provided.

Now these are the questions, confusion and worries I have as at now;

1. How do I get a school to apply to for my wife? I have tried google but most time, I get same response that do not help or not enough, so I will appreciate if you can direct me on some list of schools to check and apply to for my wife. I am also considering the tuition in this place, so I want moderate tuition schools.

2. After Application, are we to proceed to the Visa office for the Visa Application and when do we start getting our POF documents ready?

I am anticipating your answer sir/ma as I want to start the school application process as soon as possible and see how far we can go in short time.

1. Google is your best bet. Search for schools that have the course that your wife wants to study at. If you have particular locations, include that in your search. No one can do the basic research for you as people pick different schools for different reasons. You can try University of Kent, University of East London, Greenwich, Stirling Uni, Anglia Ruskin Uni, Northampton Uni, Oxford Uni, Cranfield Uni, Robert Gordon Uni etc.

2. Start prepping your POF the moment you decide on where you want to go and you know how much the tuition will be, in addition to your maintenance.
Apply to school => Get offer => fulfill offer conditions => Undergo your TB test around this period => Show POF plus other required documents (TB test, BSC/educational qualifications as required) to the school for CAS issuance => Get CAS and start online application => Submit and pay for your application online, select biometrics date, and upload supporting documents via self-service => Go for your biometrics appt and use assisted service if you have documents not uploaded via self-service => await UKVI's response.

i submitted my tb certificate initially pending the maturation of my bank statement, when the bank statement matured, i submitted immediately and they scheduled me for interview the very next day (submitted on 27 of june and was scheduled on the 28th of june to be interviewed on the 30th)

I am really grateful for your response Mimilyrics, you have done more than what google will even do cos, trust me, it can be so confusing especially when you don't have a clear direction, but what you've done is to make it so simple for me to relate with and run with. I am so grateful and God will keep blessing you.

Furthermore, on the No 2;
- Are you saying once we know the school fees/tuition, we can go ahead to start sourcing for funds to use as POF? How then do we know how much we need as POF? will this be included as information during application to the school or how do we get to know the exact POF needed?

- Where do I come in as a dependent in the whole application process? Is it at the point after the CAS has been issued to my wife or when?. Cos I understand that there are some test both the MA and the dependent must do, example is the TB test. Will that be done together or differently. (I hope you understand my question).

Please I have a complain, my dependant did her biometric June 9th. Made a paid call June 27th and got a response decision has been made but until today she’s get to get a pick up mail. I have sent an escalation mail last week. Still nothing yet . I’m very worried.
