I did biometrics 12 May, sent paid mail 30th June, decision made, waited 15 working days no response on on how to get my passport. Replied the previous paid mail and another escalation was make on the 20th July to wait another 15 working days, I got an email on Monday that they apologise for the delay and that they will work on returning my passport as soon as possible. What we need is to keep praying that the Lord will show mercy over the situation, only the Lord can do it! drmayor95: |

kod161: From the refusal letter. It is clearly stated that applicant apply for a visa to visit the UK. Likely the previous refusal was also for a visitor visa. In the last application the poser was unemployed and wanted to use his parent as the sponsor. In 5 months time the poser is employed and having received salary for 4 months, the next thing is that he want to visit the UK. Although you circumstances has changed from unemployment to employment. However, planing to commit your 4 months salaries to visit the UK was a red flag. Did you let the ECO know that you have zero monthly expenses in your application. The ECO observed that you only had inflow and no outflow in your bank statement, meaning that someone was covering your living expenses in Nigeria. In summary this is a badly package application hence the refusal. Remedy: Chill. Do not try to reapply. Focus on your job at least for the next 24 months. This will show the ECO that you are not desperate to visit the UK. When reapplying. Include the following. 1. Letter of introduction from your employer. If it is a private company, ensure that the company is active on CAC website 2. Leave letter 3. Bank statement with outflow/inflow. Demonstrate you incur some expenses and not living off your parents. At least you dey buy data. 3. Itinerary of your activity in the UK 4. A letter that address the last refusal and the steps you have taken to remedy them. Its is well. 1 Like |

We are in almost the same mode I only sent them mail at the 9th week and got a similar response to wait until after 15 working days. We keep waiting, keep praying and praising God. Even though it tarries it shall surely come. drmayor95: |

I have been been a silent follower on this platform and i rejoined to post my Visa success story. I did my biometrics on the 3rd of June, and i have been waiting, almost endlessly. always coming to this platform to get updates. I got a mail today that my documents are ready for collection. My 2year visitor visa is in my hands now. I will advise that you follow the general advice of some gurus here like giselle. It will all end in praise. I wish the waiting folks patience and eventual success. peace2peace: 3 Likes |

Documents submitted include, 6months pay slip, letter from my organisation showing that I have worked with them for a while. My previous passports showing my travel history, promotion letters etc. Funny enough I had just about 200k in my account (pls dnt try this oo). A cover letter is very very important as it explains you financial transactions. I called it an explanation letter. Once again, I wish the best to the waiting folks. I forgot to add bank statements for 6months. |

Hi Guys, Good morning, I want to ask what documents can I submit for Aunt's nephew who intend to visit the uk. Background story, My Aunt currently is about to renew her 5years visa, she has a son who is British here. But she intends to take her nephew, He is currently at home due to ASUU's strike he is a university student at the moment no work. I have told my aunt that their applications can't be merged as one as each person on his own. I just wanted to enquire what type of document can I submit for him? His mom will be sponsoring the trip, is she going to be dropping her own account?he can get an invite letter from his uncle (my Aunt's son). His school documents, what other proof can we show? I will appreciate every contribution. Thank you |

I've had -N150k once from a loan that was taken. And i still got the visa. but then, when i was applying i had visited the UK more than 13times in 5yrs (my partner was a Virgin Atlantic staff so cheap tickets ). Once you've demonstrated that you are not a flight risk nor will you use up public funds, you're usually in the green with them. JPB2: 1 Like |

Please , what are my chances? I want to apply for a UK tourist visa. I had applied for a study visa in 2007, and was refused. One of the reasons for refusal was that I was accused of forging my NYSC certificate(which was not true anyway). It was later, like two years ago that I realized I was banned then, (maybe the usual10 years ) because it wasn’t explicitly stated, from applying for visa. I have visited several countries since then…South Africa, kenya, Dubai, and lately, France. Is there any advice on how I can go about this? |
