1. Why was the visa reissued?

2. The CAS may not have been referenced before the visa was reissued so that part doesn't hold

3. You should appeal strongly to the school using all formal correspondences you sent to the university plus those from UKVI

4. Possible the school was forced to withdraw your CAS due to non-physical attendance of a course that required same. If they had listed the course as a blended one - on-campus and online, then it would've been different. Allowing you attend lectures online may have been a stop gap approach to help students resuming late but does not take away the fact you needed to attend physically.

I didn’t accept the defer offer I was sent cos I still had a pending visa application as at the earlier mail that came in July 8 giving me defer options since I didn’t meet up with the resumption deadline. I didn’t respond to it since I have already lodged a complaint to the home office as regards the delay.
Mind you I have enrolled online since April cos lectures resumed April 19 and I was attending online lectures till first week in July since there were other people affected too so school made provision for this The school stopped giving online lectures afterwards.
If truly the CAS was withdrawn as stated in the mail they sent July 8 then I believe UKVI would not have reissued the visa again July 15. I just felt there must be a way out.
I already mailed the school like I said earlier and I also attached my visa data page and home office mail that was sent to me prior to picking up my visa.

I would have proceeded with traveling immediately but I don’t wanna risk the border issue cos the last mail sent to me from school representative warned me not to travel to the UK even tho I had a valid visa

Good job y’all are doing honestly. I’ve been a silent reader and observer because I believe I’ll soon start my application also.. okay here’s the thing. I finished my HND early June(though my results is still under review), then I used google in search of schools that accept HND for masters I was given some which had Sunderland university and Bournemouth university on the lists. I write to both schools and I was told they don’t accept HND for masters but instead they accept HND for top up programs which I can then switch to masters after a year…


Now my questions are these.

1. Are there universities in the Uk that truly accept HND for masters?. I mean maybe someone on here has tried it and it worked out. If yes please sir/ma I would like to see the lists of schools that accept HND so I can start making enquires pending the time I’m ready.

2. Also for the Bachelor’s top up degree program. Am I to come back to Nigeria and apply for masters after I completed the program? Or I can just switch directly while I’m still in the uk instead of coming back to Nigeria to apply for masters again?.

3.concerning the part payment of tuition fee, can someone in the uk help me pay probably if I send him/her the money to help me pay?..

There may have been a condition tied to the online lectures and or something OP is not telling us about his issue. For example I'm yet to see the reason why the visa was reissued. If initial visa was issued in May then there's the probability that his BRP was sent to either his school or post office and if left uncollected, it may be returned back to the home office who in turn would question why returned. School would have no choice but throw him under the bus (so to speak) to cover up why they are running a blended course. But its up to the OP to tell us the reason why the re-issue was done.

First, believe that with God, anything is possibe.

Secondly, you need to get your school's phone number and call the admissions office. You must be ready to spend some money to talk to them on the phone. Don't give up till you talk to someone who can really help you. You should also call the international student office in your school and ask for help/advise.

If you were asked to defer and you didn't respond, that might be a major issue. They might have taken your silence as consent and gone ahead to defer you. Please note that your visa is always tied to your CAS so if your CAS has been cancelled, technically, your visa is now null and void. You must not travel with that visa. Again, your CAS can be updated with new information - e.g if you paid more money for your tuition. However, it cannot be re-issued if you defer. You will need a new CAS and have to go through the process again - just like you already mentioned.

If you did attend online classes as you claimed, then your school should not have asked you to defer - unless there is something you have not told us. Please be honest so that we can all help you.

Please check your school's website and get the numbers you need. This is now an emergency and emails will no longer help you with fast responses - which you need.

When you call the school, articulate your points clearly and provide facts. Be ready to use emotional blackmail if necessary.

Finally, pray and beg God to favour you. Nothing is impossible with God. Absolutely nothing. Please keep us informed on your progress.

I think Wema bank does not really allow this online and international payment stuffs because I have tried and tried times without number even before this time to no avail

However, my concern is about my International Passport which is due to expire in October this year ( as against the Visa rule of a minimum of 6 months to expiration).
Now, I have applied for renewal, but my appointment for biometrics, issuance etc is long.
What can I do please

Just try as much as you can to get the passport renewed so Nigeria doesn't happen to you. Lets assume you get your CAS issued first week of August, except your POF is ready, you might be able to apply for Visa until September and by the time its out, October is upon you, you can't travel with an expired passport.

But keep hopes alive though.
