Kzinne: You clearly don't know how these commanders operate. Police officers that refuse the so-called "illegal orders" are posted to desk jobs, confined to manning the gates, moved out of the state, sent to some other remote location within the state, or sent to a dangerous location. 1 Like |

Good but this is eye service. We know how they operate. The rank and file officers don't operate without the knowledge of their superiors. What about checkpoints manned in front of their stations extorting motorists ? Would they say the DPO doesn't know anything about it ? If they want to sanitise the police force, it should start from top to bottom. 1 Like |

Anyways: Now that one of their own, who is in fact the typical representation of what all of them are, has been caught red-handed, they have all smartly disassociated from him. HYPOCRITES OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!! They have dissociated from him as if to say he is an alien in their midst, when in fact, this is the order of the day in all their stations where daily remittances must be delivered to the "superiors". Only one camera has disgraced you all but there is another CAMERA ON HIGH which is ever on you and will be unloaded in due course.... |

Dismissing any military or para-military personnel pose more threats to the society. These guys are trained killers, and they have a lot of intel and loyalists, releasing them into the society is a TERRIBLE idea. someone on monthly salary but was still involved in corrupt acts, now imagine what such a person can do when those monthly salaries aren't coming in anymore. Best punishment is to send them to jail for at least 3-10 years, when they have done their time you reinstate them back into service with some strict conditions. These will be better than dismissal. |

Even though extortion shouldnt be encouraged. Is he worse than our politicians who have ripped us off our collective resources in quantum sizes? How many have been dismissed or punished. Is a police man extortion on the highway not better than a bandit's kidnap, humiliation and ransom request? What's there to raise a token for a police man guarding the highways, atleast to appreciate their efforts against all odds. How much him ask for wey that idiot go video dey post , not as him he assaulted any one. Nonsense!! |
