I have my visa interview date on the 19th of next month and my class resumption date is on the 22nd would this affect my chances of my visa been approved please i need advice
After interview and visa approval, reach out to your school for extension letter. They can also make a remark on your I-20 allowing you entry after 22nd, Aug.

You'd need it at the POE.

Hello all,

For past visa refusals, I know it has to be mentioned during student visa application.
But do I have to upload anything like the blue slip given.

If the blue paper is not available, is there a way to contact the us embassy to get it back or request for a new paper.
You won't be required to upload any document.

Lol! How does my question relate to emergency appointment?
itoski:

Y'all are the problem not even the embassy.
Do you think these guys like to work their butt off?

I have never heard of F1 EA getting denied but now they have started denying EA and you wonder why.

Hello all, my flight is on the 16th of August so i want to ask this question please.

1: Covid Vaccination: I had my first shot of J&J on the 15th of July and i was told i can only take the booster shot by 15th of september (2months apart) Is that gonna be problem at the Point of Entry?

2: How much do i have to have in Dollar as per my BTA when leaving Nigeria?

@Moshkom @wallspring

1. Just make sure the two shots are taken before flight time.

2. Your wallet / account won’t asked or checked at the POE, so take the amount you have with you. “Na you know how much you get and need in Yankee”

Hahahaha. Even most ivy universities like Boston University is even looking for 3.5. So, 3.54 is awesome.

He made the commy, and I just did one minute googling and saw the university. I browse through the website, and they are almost begging people to apply. They said even if you are not done with your Bachelor, you can still apply. They said if you did first degree in another field, you can still apply for the Msc in Biology that they will help you make it up for you. I saw the email of the person to contact. They said you can apply anytime. Scholarships are available.

If I were him, I will craft my CV and send one compelling cold email to the person and attach my CV. He will literally beg you to apply and get admission.

Hello creativeweb and everyone, please help me out on this issue.

I have been working as a teacher for the past 3years. I studied Economics Education in my undergraduate program. I want to start applying for masters but I don't want to do it in education rather I want to go into finance or economics major. Contrarily, I noticed that work(ing) experience has impact on getting visa. Because VO always ask questions in this area.

Please what do you guys suggest.

Would I get more chance in education path or I can switch?

So is your experiences around education in economics?

I think you can switch based on your future plan for yourself. So, you can always tell VO your future plan and while this switch in Masters is necessary to match with what you want to do when you are done with your Masters.

Think of why you want to switch. Think of the career you want to go into. Then, use it to convince the VO.

Also, a pressing need or persistent problem around you may inspire your passion and push you to change career.

For instance, if you did biology education and you are teaching biology in a school in your community, but there's no health centre in your community or the one there is not functioning or they usually lack steady availability of health professionals. This can move you to switch to accelerated nursing program in US or Masters in Public Health or Masters in Nutrition or Masters in Environmental Biology so that you come back and proffer solutions to the health challenges in your community.

Good morning guys I am currently in UK and I will like to inquire how to apply for master in the US and the process to do that

Google the program you want to study and go through the websites of the Universities that popped up from the search.

Like, Msc in computer science in US.

Then, read through the websites and start contacting professors or department heads.

I think you were not answering the question straight as they came. Trying culminating other aspect of your experience shouldn’t becloud the real answers.

Most times less is more .

Lastly, you don’t bring your colleague studying in the same university in. It’s like you’re following him and don’t know why you want to go there.

That’s my take on few errors I’ve seen

Greetings NL team!!

I've gotten to the stage in my application where I'll need a recommendation letter. I intend drafting my own letter and sending to my project supervisor in skul,so he'll use instead of me stressing him and in the process submitting a dry LOR. But,my case is different, I graduated with a 2.87/4 gpa,I have Good gre tho plus,I meet the minimum GPA of the skul I'm applying to which is 2.75/4. My plea is;

1) anybody here with link, sample or can help me address the situation here as I want an outstanding reference letter, I think a lady here said something about this, where she got good LOR and she said some vital stuffs to be included in the letter if you've low GPA.

Pls if u can't help with link or sample, u can aswell help with the killer words here(type it) so I can draft from here. I just need good content on this, I greet una!!

You are right. I sent them email about waiving application fee and TOEFL test, and here's their response...

We would be happy to grant you a fee waiver! All we need is your CAS ID located at the top right of your application.

In regards to a TOEFL waiver, we will need your transcripts that show that English was the primary language of instruction.
