The people who open it are either not aware, big diesel generators are water cooled I.e it comes with radiator and fan to cool the engine even when covered where’s small petrol generators are air cooled I.e it doesn’t come with fan and radiator and so requires the natural air to cool it as such putting in such enclosed space wouldn’t be good for it.
