The British never liked the Yorùbás because they know we are too intelligent for them. That's why the rigged the first election in Nigeria in favor of the North. They know the Northerners are flexible people they can easily manipulate. The British detest the Igbos too because of the minerals resources in the South East. And it's so unfortunate that the Igbos too don't have a clue the amount of untapped mineral resources they are blessed with because of Biafra. Awọn òyìnbó, oloshi! 1 Like |

Zonefree:We don hear. Tinubu will squash any Biafra rally after the election as a result of frustration from the grand defeat from the polls and also make life difficult for yanmiris in Lagos. God shall see us through. |

NGsultan: Beware of these foreigners. They are always visiting Northern politicians and the end results are destructive. Cast your mind back to when Secretary of State John Kerry visited Gen Muhammadu Buhari outside official lines in 2014 when the latter was contesting for president. We all know the result. |

Artiiclebeast:You are right and your points are well driven, but you still haven't gotten it totally, and that's because you still talk about Nigeria existing. If you want to liberate the citizens totally, then Nigeria must be dissolved. The roots and consciousness of being different nations that were unjustly merged together must be revived. And that's why Nnamdi Kanu didn't get it wrong to continue the Biafra agitation, likewise the Yoruba nation agitators. The lives of the indigenous citizens are in danger as a result of continuous impoverishment and also because of a possible war that may break out from the jihadists and terrorists running the affairs of Nigeria. I know you understand this, no need to talk much. Note that: as long as Nigeria continues as Nigeria, we are continuously insulted as Africans, because the indication is that we are not fit to have a country or countries instituted by our own, intelligence, ideologies, government etc. just like our people lived when they weren't yet exposed to western education. Even the name Nigeria was coined for us (different merged nations). All these are all insults to our intelligence and existence. The British didn't use war, they used wiles and deceit to colonize us. Nigeria is an artificial creation which must be destroyed if indeed we as part of Africans are interested in having influence, relevance and retaining our pride. |

sharpwriter: Your submission is highly appreciated and makes a whole lot of sense. However, we need to be tactful and diplomatic in our approach at correcting or revisiting all of the ills you submitted above. I'm sure you aren't lauding the manner and way Nnamdi Kanu went about it and the consequences we are presently dealing with where the agitation has been hijacked by miscreants and become a free for fall with the same citizens he sought to liberate ending up the worse off in his pet project. My dear brother, if we say make we scratch our body the way e dey itch us, na heavy sores go full the body. Let's think and think smart. Things can go right without a blood let... |

Artiiclebeast:You are right. I'm from south west though. I myself just like others are very wroth. But the leader of the Yoruba agitation, Prof. Akintoye believes in line with your last sentence. And most times he is actually doing his best to make it attainable without blood shed or at least little blood shed. If he hadn't used intellect in connivance with other intellectuals especially in diaspora, left to the youths, maybe there would have been a full blown war by now. |
