olakunle10: Thank you for your response..please did you get a refund after they told you that it was a mistake? They didn’t ask me to go for fingerprints or anything like that they just want me to pay $85 for biometric and upload the receipt 1 Like |

Kunlexy92:Well, I didn't ask for refund because I had already gone to do the biometrics. Once you do the payment of $85 and upload the receipt, you will be directed on how to book for your biometrics date. You can write to them with details of the previous biometrics so as to get a feedback from them. But if you don't mind the cost of $85, you can go ahead and redo the biometrics again. Good morning |

olakunle10: Good morning..I paid the $85 immediately on Thursday and I uploaded the receipt immediately also and when I checked my account the next day my status changed to ( the additional document you provided has been uploaded) but I am yet to hear anything from them about how to book for my biometric again |

Hello people, What is the minimum POF I need for a VV to Canada and how long does the money need to be in my account? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by olakunle10: 7:25am On Aug 01, 2022 |
Kunlexy92:Good morning. I suggest to search for the page on how to go about your biometrics on the Ircc portal. I believe that should help out. I also think a mail regarding this should have been sent to you. Please check your mail including spam. You need to book for a date to do the biometrics at the VFS closest to you.. |

Hi Folks, Quick question for anyone that have invited their parents to attend their graduation in canada. Did you upload your letter of completion of graduation letter? Which document did you use to show your graduation timeline? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by olasubomy: 11:45pm On Aug 01, 2022 |
ditha: You can upload your letter of completion if you have it. But if you are yet to complete your final exams and have all your grades released and approved by your faculty, then you might not be able to secure a letter of completion yet. Additionally, you can get a “TO WHOM LETTER” from your faculty for graduation invitation purposes. That letter should state the date you are expected to graduate and the name of your guest documented on the letter. Inform your faculty or programme officer that you need such a letter. They know how to draft it. Furthermore, you can also write a confirmation of invitation letter to affirm you are inviting the guest mentioned above, and you explain the arrangement you have made for the duration of their stay in terms of accommodation and living. |

Good morning nairalanders. I actually applied for a TRV with my children. I have done my biometrics, medicals, and recently, I was sent my passport request letter. They didn't ask my children for medicals and also, they didn't send them their passport request letter. This has been bothering me. Pls, I need to know, has anyone experienced this before? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Drawer: 10:47am On Aug 02, 2022 |
Lilyebi: Can you share your timeline please. Also is it your first time application or you're renewing? You can send them a webform or better still check their application status online. I heard kids less than 5years don't need medicals. I don't know how true that is. Maybe you can also do an upfront medicals for them and send through webform just to be on a safe side. Congratulations and all the best. 1 Like |

Good day everyone, based on learnings from here..we have raised the GCMS form and we are still expecting feedback. However, i am of the opinion that we put the VV application aside and do a fresh application for SOWP for the husband and study permit for the daughter who is 9 years old. Now my concerns again 1. if we open another SOWP application for father and study for daughter (please note that the overdue -over 210days application is VV for father and daughter) is there any negative implication? 2. Can the 2 applications run concurrently and if one turns out good we cancel the other (just my random thoughts out of frustrations) 3. Do we need letter of acceptance from any school for the 9 year old daughter to back up the application 4. Please we need all the advise we can get right now @letsfarmnigeria @karmora and experts in the house please share your thoughts |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by letsfarmnigeria: 6:02pm On Aug 03, 2022 |
semilore12: I would have suggested you wait for the GCMS note before you submit the SOWP this will guide you to know exactly what he went wrong and the real reason for the delay on this application this is to forestall rushing for nothing because if reasons for this delay are not known how are sure the SOWP may not have issues again so after getting the GCMS note if you want to apply for the SOWP good and fine. All the best as you make a decision |
