I will distribute the blame in 97% : 3% fashion against Riqui Puig.

Koeman might have hated him but he gave him the opportunity to leave on loan before the season started. Find a decent club in laliga and play out the season there.

But Puig refused to leave.

That was a direct affront to the Koeman. He interpreted it as Puig was daring him to do his worse. He reacted by not playing him at all, as he was already forewarned.

Two years later, Riqui Puig is now doing what he should have done two years earlier.
