Henderson has his strength but he's too erratic.. he launches d ball alot under pressure, instead of passing, has bad positioning. De Gea has his fault, but if we're going to move forward Henderson isn't is replacement..

I think he made the right choice, nobody want to sit on the bench in a World Cup year. As it stands, Pickford and Ramsdale will make England world cup squad so he needs to fight for the last slot with Nick Pope, Sam Johnstone and Alex McCarthy.

With the World cup looming this is the current situation of the 4 GKs fighting for the 3rd slot:

Alex McCarthy: decent GK but will always be exposed with Southampton playing style alongside his lack of cordination.
