Buhari gave the approval for a port to be built somewhere in Akwa Ibom, Bonny and Warri more than 3 years ago

The Governor's needs to find investors that will build the ports

Everything in Nigeria is about politics.

What about Akwa ibom, Rivers, cross Rivers and ondo?

Dead country
Buhari gave the go ahead for ports to be built in Akwa Ibom, Rivers(Bonny) and Delta(Warri) and Lagos(Lekki).

Why are the state Governors of those states not searching for investors like the Lagos State Government have been doing?

Lagos is already congested with just Apapa port yet 2 more ports are coming up in Lekki and Badagry axis.

The Federal government should as well develop water channel through Berger and Iyana Ipaja, let's know the 4 corners of Lagos have been circled with ports while other states are begging for one.

In 2040, another generation will tell you how Tinubu and Sanwolu alone developed Lagos.

This project will be financed by private sector and not FG. FG is giving approval because port operation is on exclusive list. If other states want seaport, they should look for private investors and present the proposal to FG. Buhari will not deny them approval.

The FG is not spending one Naira in Badagry. It grants approval let the states go and work to find investors

Approval is different from building. FG must first approve before private investors commence the development. Bitterness deprives you of understanding.

Private investors in partnership with Lagos State government will develop the project and not FG. FG only gave approval because port operation is on exclusive list. Any state with access to the ocean can look for private investors and seek the approval of the FG to build a seaport.
