I just got an offer from one of the colleges in Canada for a two years diploma course. I was asked to get my study permit, please I want to ask the processes or steps in getting the study permit and when to go for medical.

Yes I did yesterday, I got bvl. On Tuesday, a before yesterday, a mail from an MP stated that eligibility is Passed and it is in queue for a final approval. May 2, 2022 applicant. My God has perfected all that concerns me, it will manifest physically soon. Amen!

Hello innit, let me be the first to congratulate you! Ppr is sure!!! Start looking for flight details in preparation �... So at how many weeks did you decide to mail your MP, did you order your GCMS. When please? Did your eligibility show 'started' on your dashboard? I'd appreciate your reply congratulations again comrade!

Did you contact all the MPs in your province, at least 1 of them will reply. Also, hope you were not rude in the content of your mails to the MPs, cos they are not in any way responsible in the delay of your application, and also they are not even supposed to attend to you since you are not yet in Canada or a resident of their province , its only the "So nice" MPs that reply to applicants outside of Canada, since you will be a prospective resident of their province.

So in your next mails to all the MPs in your proposed province, make sure youa re extra nice and friendly in your write-up.

Also keep bombarding IRCC with mails until you get an update, your application is almost a year, so you have every right to do so..

My wife's Study Permit Application was submitted on Feb 26th, 2022 (Upfront medicals were done)
Biometrics was done on 7th March 2022.
Medical passed and Biometric updated 7th March 2022.

PPR For my Wife May 27th, 2022.

Secondly Myself and our 2 months Baby.

Visit Visa for Myself and Baby applied on the 22nd of June 2022
Biometrics requested for me alone on 23rd June 2022
Biometrics completed and updated 24th June 2022.

Eligibility Review Started 24th July 2022
Medical Requested for me and my baby 25th July 2022
Medical Booked and done on the 26th July 2022 (Miracle and grace)
Medical Updated to Pass 27th July 2022
BVL AND PPR FOR ME AND MY BABY 3RD AUG 2022.

Good all the gurus in the house, please I have a question and clarification regarding my study permit application. My sponsor want to provide 6 months SOA but shaded some information and figures for the month of June, said his bank merge his other acct to his savings account but the sitting balance remains same from his account history, and that the shaded part are personal information. He stays in Alberta. Please will this affect or is there anyway out of this?

I tried to defer but was told I can't defer twice since I already did last year.

Please o will this affect the approval?

I did my biometrics in Abuja last week, and I was given a photocopy of my passport back, with a sticker that has my biometrics unique number on it, and the signature of the lady that took my information, and told that's all

Reading through the previous pages of this thread, I read about a yellow slip, but I wasn't given that.

Please I was hoping you or anyone who knows can tell me if this is a problem.

As it stands, I sleep and wake on this thread wondering when I would also post about my PPR.

I was so sure my application would be approved in 20 days - 'cos NSE route, alas, my application will be 2 months on August 14.

Thank goodness Naira is strengthening against the US dollar. At least the cost of flight tickets will drop down a bit. I don't know if banks will be faster in approving Tuition payments abroad when one applies through the CBN trade system platform.

I uploaded my upfront medical sheet yesterday through the web form and I am happy it is being reviewed when I checked back in this morning.

Praying earnestly my eligibility starts soon as that is yet to begin and classes resumes on 6th September 2022.
