askari01: Yes, 7th week. I sent a paid mail yesterday and the feedback stated no decision made yet which is taking longer than expected. It's a Direct Airside Transit through UK and taking forever, can I withdraw my passport since I have other means. |

askari01: Before I sold the land in feb I had bout 2.3 after selling the land I had about 22m which I bought a car for my wife and and did an investment for 6.5 which all receipts and certificate of investment where included in my application. Finally I applied with a balance of 2.420 in June |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by toemie(m): 11:39am On Aug 04, 2022 |
Rogundipe2000: It is not wrong for someone to have huge deposits in his bank accounts as long as it is well justified with documents evidence. I mean anything can happen, sale of house, car, land etc. What would have happened is that in the application where it is mentioned "Other Sources of Income, investments" etc, you could have ticked and mention the total amount you received. When it comes to filling the part about employment status, monthly income, other earnings, you should fill it together with what appears on your bank statements to be on the safe side In fact, your figures in the application should match with bank statements. I believe you have good reasons and explanations to address the concerns on the refusal once you re-apply. 1 Like 1 Share |

2.3m in February, 2.4m at submission, 22m in and out before June doesn’t look good IMO. Made it look like someone ran funds through your account. Rogundipe2000: |

toemie: Yes I did click other sources of income, investment and also submitted all receipts an investment cert and all was stated in my cover letter… will definitely try again in January. Not in a hurry |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jbab: 1:21pm On Aug 04, 2022 |
Rogundipe2000: If you are to apply again in January 2023, make your bank statement very flexible, have a dedicated salary account where your company pays you monthly stable income and you have your tax evidence, spend from the salary account the money you will state as your monthly expenditure,Visa success is not always about the millions of naira in business transactions but the steady inflow of monthly/yearly income, that's why it's easier for the ECO to verify applicant financial stability through the salary account . you can use your other bank accounts for your day to day business transactions. It becomes complicated for the ECO to understand if you keep adding and subtracting millions of naira from the same account because you are the owner and want to use the same bank statement as visa proof of funds. Have genuine supporting documents for your other sources of income, especially investment documents, receipts etc. The ECOs have enough applicants to attend to daily than trying to spend time on a single application for genuineness of your financial situation especially if you are not a frequent Traveller to the UK and other developed countries. 2 Likes |

Pls help out any recent traveller. Thanks. How did you pay for your flight ticket? Via travel agent? Or our naira debit cards are working? I.e I saw a qatar flight like 550k, but it's payment by debit card? Any solutions? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by giselle237: 3:47pm On Aug 04, 2022 |
Brunobia:Qatar has payment via bank transfer… where are you booking through? Set your location to Nigeria on their website, do payment on hold.. it will give u 2 options.. go ahead with 24 or 48 hrs hold.. u will receive their naira account numbers to make payment before the deadline 2 Likes |

geolan: Just decided to give an update on my previous post. I received a mail from TLS now that my passport is ready for collection. I have checked my inbox and spam to see if there is any prior mail that i skipped but there is none. My biometrics was done in Ikeja, Lagos on the 7th of June 2022. I don’t know what is there yet but I intend to go get my passport tomorrow and update the house on the outcome. 3 Likes |

Rogundipe2000: You just used the land money to kill ur application, if the money stayed in ur account till when u wanted to apply , the ECO might think its savings . but u received large sum of money in ur account and you later bought car and investment of 6.5... You shot ur self on the Leg ni...There is no need to boost ur account when u already had 2.3 in the account. perfect ur account withing the next few months , pay urself 400k salary, spend 120-150 each month and worry less about boosting yout account ... with 1.5m you can get ut visa if ur account is perfectly done. |

Greetings all. My aunty has a valid US visa and would really like to make a party in the UK. If she arrives the same day of the party she can leave the following day to the US. So I went to the UK Gov website and entered the criteria. Please someone should help me read. The way it's looking it's as if she doesn't need a transit visa.
