Accept my congratulations!!!
What's the difference between 'House Deed of Assignment' and 'Gift Deed from mother'. What's the difference sir? Which one are we going to tell lawyer to work on if mother wants to give a house and pieces of lands to her daughter?

Thank you for your time sir

Deed of assignment is usually a document backing the purchase/sale of a property (land/house) in relation to the transfer of ownership.

Gift deed is simply the transfer of something from a donor to the person receiving the gift (it could be lump sums of money etc). It doesn't involve sale/purchase.

.

The $1500 is the deposit you pay to confirm your acceptance into the program you applied for. Once that money is paid , you can only get a partial refund of $1300, if your visa application is rejected by the Canadian embassy. In any other case the $1500 deposit is non refundable.
Good luck
i want to believe if you voluntarily cancel you admission without a good reason

It’s a slip not a form... it’s long and narrow abi slim... and it could also come in white color. Just check, it has your biometric number and all

What I have is a small sticker pasted on one of the photocopies of my international passport which they returned to me. It has my full name, date of birth, IRCC number, and Biometric ID. Are these the same details you have on your yellow slip. If yes, maybe they have changed it to this sticker.

Are you sure you completed the medicals? To the best of my knowledge, IOM gives everyone a slip, be it upfront or medical request from IRCC.
yes the first registration when you enter is the A4 paper slip which they will tell you to upload to your portal

Your medicals wasn’t processed? Did you send in your medical slip after the medical and was it updated?. What s Red star? June 7-20? Why the time frame? Let others come
red Star is the courier service I used to send my passport. I sent my medical information sheet to them when they requested for it then I got my PR after that but the medical was never updated till the 30 days count ended

The only reason you will get a refund is if you are denied a study permit. For any other reason whether it is a good reason or not you wouldn't get a refund.

TESTIMONY TIME

It’s been a long ride with IRCC. Approval after three applications.

I got a fully funded Ph.D. admission last year in June for fall resumption but deferred admission to January so I could have ample time to prepare my visa application. I applied from China in September and rejection came in within two weeks on personal assets and financial status, immigration status, and purpose of visit grounds. I was devastated, to say the least.

I explained my ordeal here on Nairaland and was advised to come back home to reapply. An immigration lawyer from my school helped me review my LOE for reapplication. I however panicked when flights from Nigeria were banned in December so I reapplied from China. Your guess is as good as mine. Another refusal, based on the same reasons as above. So, I packed my bags and came back home.

For the third and final application, I submitted same documents as before. The only thing that changed was updating my LOE with the information that I am back home and applying for a new CAQ to be sent to Nairobi office.

Final application was sent in on the 12th of March through the new portal.
Medical request 16th June
Medical Examination – 30th June
Medical passed - 15th July
PPR- 29th July

SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS
• Admission Letter
• Passport data page
• Birth certificate
• Academic Transcripts
• Academic certificates
• LOE
• CAQ
• Upfront medical sheet
• Personal bank statements
• Gift deed
• Land and property documents
• Family birth certificates
• CAC document

Kindly note that in both refusal cases, I requested GCMS notes before reapplying. The reasons were quite vague. I guess their main concern was applying from a country I had “temporary ties” to.

After 12 weeks processing time, I sent an email. It was after this I got the medical request. I also sent emails when my new medicals was not updated on time.

Special thanks to Akannitommy, Makano, Ikechi12, Osemigho, and Omiinii for answering my questions. Thank you all for your support. I can now rest.

Please I don't know what to do about this.
I submitted my application April 22, did my upfront medical on may 7 got the request to do my medical on June 1 then I sent my upfront medical information sheet to them again then got my passport request the next day. But my medical was never processed or passed. I sent my passport to vfs Lagos through red star (a courier service) it got to vfs Lagos on June 13 then got to the ircc office on June 20 since then I haven't heard anything. Could my medical not being processed cause the delay

Hello Beautiful people, please I need your assistance.

I have been gathering my documents, intend to go for a premedical examination by September, and then submit the application.

Just concerned about hometies.

1. I am working remotely for a company in the US. should I submit my employment certificate from this company? Is that a red flag?

2. I have a land and my mom who is the sponsor also has her land. If she gift me her land, will that carry weight? (I have learnt about the gift deed thing here, tbh I don’t know how to go about it)

3. I have also registered a liability company couple months ago with the intention of coming back to start operations. Won't that be a red flag due to the time frame the company was registered compared with my application time.

Thanks. It will all end in praise for sure. Amen!!!

I also thank everyone who had prayed and kept things positive on here. Also those who continual contribute by answering questions. You have been most wonderful. Thank you so much.

For all those still waiting on God for PPR, God has done it! Amen!!! Keep praying and keep monitoring. Also, it is advisable to order GCMS notes as many times as possible, the VO sometimes could make mistakes. So monitoring is key.

Please this passport submission process seems abit confusing from the VFS website. Please can someone direct me to an existing post on this or guide me. I will like to submit to Abuja Office from Lagos.

Thank you!!!
