- Next page in the description field, you can just ask "What is the status of my application please" and submit.

You should get a response between 20mins to 48hrs and it will indicate where your application is being processed.

If you don’t need an LMIA, you will be eligible for two-week processing if you meet all of these requirements:

you are applying from outside Canada
your job is either skill type 0 (managerial) or skill level A (professional) in the National Occupational Classification system
your employer has submitted an offer of employment using the Employer Portal and paid the employer compliance fee

You can book an appointment with either IOM or Qlife and go for the medicals. You will tell them it's upfront and will be given a slip when you are done.
This slip is what you upload with your application.

I submitted mine on Wednesday evening and up till now I am yet to hear from them.
Doe it involve a process or what , please help me out.

I have already submitted an application through an agent, got a job offer which I have signed and returned for the employer.
I have also done my medicals

My worry is why have I not been invited to come for biometrics even after submitted my Police Character report to the embassy since last week Wednesday Or Do I need to book an appointment for my biometrics before I will be invited for it?

Although the agent told me that there are some underground checks tat the embassy has to do and also they cannot do anything unless they hear from LMIA.
Is there a way I can found out what is actually happening ?

Biometric was done in Lagos. On the visa, it says issued at CPC Edmonton

Thank you so much for starting this trend. I applied for a work permit a year ago. And I totally did the application wrong. The denial mail came in this July and I was told to reapply correctly. My Noc is under the priority list and I will like to reapply since my employer is still willing to sponsor me.

Please, please and please, I will appreciate if you can hand hold me so I don't make the same mistake again. I sent you a mail with this username.

@Rockford, when you were applying for your dependent wife and children, did you have to show proof of funds for them? I'm thinking that the offer letter of the main applicant showing what he would be receiving as salary in Canada should suffice? What do you think? Please i would appreciate your quick response.
