As usual there was no outcome of the investigation by EFCC.

Just noise and vibes and a repeat of the same procurement shenanigans 7 years later.

The only thing we can draw from this is that Buhari is ultimately gej 2.0

The contract was awarded in February.

All we have is a shadow awardee and no response from the government showing the actual purchased vehicles.

This is dasuki all over again

'Security purposes'

Its not about the EFCC nvestigation per se, Its about we always had arrangements with our neighbors to give them certain aids and grants because their wellbeing is tied to ours

3.6M Pounds at todays rate will be home much in Naira?

Nigeria stopped being good economically after the oil boom. By the mid-80s, the country was as hard as fück.

In the next 15 years, people would come on this site to say 2020 wasn’t that bad for the working class.

Nigeria went through Austerity under Shagari, MAMSER & SAP under IBB. They were tough times.

Ebenezer Obey sang “Formula 0-1-0” in the late 80s. The song described how majority of Nigerians had one meal per day.

Nigerians have always had it extremely hard.
Wole Soyinka that worked for IBBs govt will also tell us corruption is eroding the society. lol

Undecided voters are not a thing in Nigeria's propaganda wheel, ask any critical question and you are automatically branded as a stooge to another candidate.
Every Election, people just make up a Saint, prop him up and expect everyone to agree that he is a Saint, since 2014, I swore never to fall for that trick, never again. I will continue asking critical questions about any candidate, and exposing their pitfalls, if you like give me a negative tag, na you Sabi.

Yes it's only a foolish or very abulic person that would proudly say he's undecided right now.
Are you not in Nigeria? The bread I used to buy for 800 before is now 2000 today. And we used to consume 2 before. That's just Bread oo, before we talk about other staples that have ballooned in price.

Are you not in Nigeria with us, hearing 0f the numerous insecurity issues paralyzing the country. I'm not even talking about the domestic terrorism issue, I'm talking of the everyday common crime that goes unreported, we're talking buglaries and the likes.

Then you have a chance to wipe away the old class of politicians and vote people like me with a tenacious zeal to get things right and be uncompromising in our ideals of how government should be. There are soo many fresh politicians springing up in the labor party, you are assured of us starting with a clean slate but no, you are still be undecided. That tomfoolery of the highest order.

1.4b is material to Nigeria at every point in time and even now. If this was a deal or agreement signed with Niger do you suggest we ignore it?

We have security challenges and our neighbors need to help us to do as well. Its why the US keeps sending money to Mexico and Central American countries to help them secure America

That is my point. The money us throws at Mexico and others as foreign aid is not material to a country with a trillion dollar budget.

But Nigeria today, with low oil prices, low production due to oil theft, multiple internal fiscal challenges has no business blowing. 1.4 billion. I am sure you have read that soldiers are being owed salaries.

And of course this is evidence of a larger pattern of fiscal irresponsibility in a time of want

Ironically you are still crediting Obj for establishing PENCOM.

Just as he established conmess, which regularised doctors salaries and reduced doctor japaing

You don't know that pension fraud is about Nigerians greed? Is it not under buharis watch we saw maina dancing up and down? I am sure we will still find the man is not in prison.

PENCOM was a massive failure. MASSIVE. I don't even want to go there now.

By the way, I am not defending Buhari's govt. I am defending this particular policy. Buhari failed as well but nobody will color other previous govts as though they did not have their own very glaring flaws.

Which govt flouted rule of law more than Obasanjo's govt? Political assassinations nko? 3rd term agenda? Which president started Ghana-must-go politics in the national assembly and granted these legislooters the grandiose remuneration they enjoy today?

Don't sleep on a bicycle.

But they are feeding over 200,000 of our citizens in their country.

So Nigeria should have ignored their call for help while our Senators pocket N14m every month in salaries?

But the purpose of the investigation was to establish that the money was actually spent.

Which is one of the issues I raised. Can we even be sure any vehicles were bought? Can we be sure this is not a briefcase company?

I read that toyota designs it's sedans to.last 10 years, and it's suvs to last 20.so let us even say we bought cars for Niger in 2013. Should we be buying another set in less than 10.years? In our current predicament.

The wording of that article for me says it is like the subsidy fraud. People were awarded money in the guise of sending material to Niger, with nothing to show. That is actually the perfect fraud when you think about it. No one can demand to see the vehicles because they are in a different country.

You know nothing. Maybe you should ask people who are actually working.I paid pension in my employed years, and I have accesssed 25% of it.

As usual you miss the point

'It's the economy, stupid!'

That is the ultimate measure of any administration.

You think people would hate Buhari so much if the economy was not in a shambles.

There is no perfect president. Obj got some things wrong. But Obj left a much better Nigeria than he met. He gave Nigerians hope in the future.

Why do you think everyone wants to japa today? Because Buhari cannot give hope for a brighter future.

You think Gani fought objs government more than the prev military admins? Did Obj ever imprison Gani?

How old are you actually?

Do you understand that it is inevitable that governments will clash with ngos, unions etal?

The irony is that democracy makes it so much harder to engage unions. Tinubu first fought nurtw, then recognised they cannot be beat. Fashola capitilated to tanker drivers union. Any arrest of any tanker blocking the road - instant strike.

So fights with unions are inevitable.

I wonder how you got paid employment. You are literally too stupid to compute information.

Drag Buhari as much as you want. I don't give a flying silverware. But don't assume everyone else cowers to the pangolo education you unfortunately got if you got any.

Brain drain started in 2015 or what? They hated him so much and voted him again in 2019?

If I missed the point at least I knew it to begin with. You have never seen the point in your entire unfortunate existence.

Like I said, you know nothing. You were probably still collecting pocket money in 2004,which is why you are taking so ignorantly about the economy, PENCOM and Nigeria in general.

You can wonder all you want how I got paid employment in an oil company in 2004. By having the highest test score and killing the interview so hard that even though I didn't make it (the role was it support) I was called back three months later when an engineering vacancy opened up.

But small children like you have never really earned your way through life, which is why you can always be counted on to talk shit.

Look at your pathetic attempts to defend fiscal irresponsiblity. Are you sure you are earning a living or stealing money from daddy's wallet? Because only a person with no idea of the value of money will talk all the shit you have been confidently talking. Comparing a broke struggling country to the US. Money miss road mentality

Please reference the 2000s.

People were buying three year old Tokunbo cars if they didn't buy brand new.

I remember when a friend came from UK and we were yabbing him for bringing sweets sold in lagos traffic. 2002 to 2010 were boom years. Companies were buying cars every four years or less.

One of my guys whose wife was in v mobile at the time got a three year old toyota hilux at 50k auction lottery

The 2008 Toyota corolla was so common I would literally see a line of the car in different colours when going to work.

I know people who used the stock market to finance their masters back then.

I never old enough to work then but I have two cousins who graduated around that period and they both got instant graduate trainee jobs in GTB.

Not not enough sample size but those of us from the same extended family who finished school from 2012 upwards didn't find it that easy in the labour market.

A lot of youths just talk and try to pretend Nigeria has always been hard.

Charles Soludo forced banks to consolidate to 25 billion capitalisation. The banks that made it through were flush with money. That was the time when fresh grads were getting 200k jobs in banks, at a time dollar was n110 or so.

Telcos required support companies. Guys were pulling over 200k in Ericsson and Motorola. I was first working in a consulting firm servicing mtn. MTN built so many structures, facilities etc and a whole chain of people got paid. Consultants, builders, service providers.

Then you had the privatisation of national oil, unipetrol, etal.

In some ways I think this is why Obj was chasing third term. Because he recognised that a lot of what he had done could be scattered. When third term failed he tried remote control via yardua.

Almost immediately yardua reversed sale of nnpc refineries, abandoned nepa revamp (transformers for the gas power stations), scattered virgin Nigeria, destroyed efcc, and basically started us on the path to regression. GEJ was a man completely out of his depth who let the good times roll with no plan for tomorrow.

And Buhari is the completely aloof leader who scattered what was left.

At least you are no longer claiming toyota makes bullet proof vehicles

BTW the correct name is lc70 or land cruiser pickup

It remains to be seen if this is actually what was ordered
An lc70 is 76000 usd maxed out. That comes to 53m at n700/$.

But we are told we are provindiing 10 units at 1.4billion, not so, 140m each.

This is just money for some loyal Buhari crony, nothing more

How much FG spent ain't my concern to be honest. This is Nigeria so I know the figures gonna be padded definitely.

My point is simple, if indeed we are Giant of Africa, we shouldn't shy away from helping our Neighbours.

lol. Did you awaken from a coma that occurred in 2005? GloriousDullard, some people are making more money today than in 2005. lol

Which people?

You keep showing that you are a small child who has never earned money. Do you know what cost of diesel is doing to businesses? And galloping inflation? And different businesses closing down.or pulling out?

Well maybe if you are the one Buhari is giving contract to supply suvs at inflated prices, you can say people are making money. Anyone making an honest living in Nigeria is finding it harder and harder.

Not everyone can just say I no go pay, after all.
