One of them was telling me that Tinubu had no hand in the emergence of Buhari that it was the nPDP like Saraki, Atiku, Amaechi Kwankwanso who made Buharis victory possible. That Tinubu is overrated and has no political clout

Next thing he said Tinubu must be punished for bringing Buhari on Nigerians

Lolz.... This crack me up big time. You're doing well sir.

One of the biggest flaws of the APC government. Their communication/PR is dirt awful. There was no reason to hide this expenditure or to keep it under wraps.

Nigerians are already suspicious of them and yet they still make shadowy moves. There’s nothing wrong in putting this in the news. Neighboring countries help each other all the time to fight immigration or terrorism.

There’s no big deal.

Eggzactly....

This is what I was saying. They are not good in disseminating information to Nigerian an for this very one, I see no reason why they can't come openly about it. Well, except that Izzou and donjazt are right sha.

I will continue asking critical questions about any candidate, and exposing their pitfalls, if you like give me a negative tag, na you Sabi.

God bless you bro. This is what we all should be doing. No saint politicians especially in Nigeria. Lets subject all of them to questions and scrutinies.
If indeed you are here for the masses, you must explain what your project is, and how intend to achiecve it, the obstacles, how you intended to overcome them...No saints bro.......not at all.

Those I find interesting are those that says Buhari has failed but say they would've voted for Osibanjo if he was APC candidate.

You say you want to punish Tinubu for Buhari failures but you will Vote Osibanjo the VP of the failed Buhari.

This logic dey always amuse me. cheesy

I've read the post, to be honest the governors gave some really good suggestions except for the part of sacking workers 50years & above and increasing Tax/VAT rate.

They talked about merging some agencies that are duplicating duties amounting to sheer waste of money and some other good advice.

However my grouse with the governors is the fact they never talked about themselves in all this cost cutting advice they are giving FG. These guys collect security votes that run into billions of naira and do not even account to anybody what they do with it. Those collecting security votes and not doing anything visible with it should also task themselves to let go some of these excesses.

After swallowing security votes and a major security challenge arises they start talking shiiit about FG being the one controlling police and other security agencies that could've protected the state from non state actors..... Smh

Kudos to Lagos state with the whole RRS stuff that's recorded massive success in keeping the state safe and kudos to the SW stated with the Amotekun thingy.

ASUU should GTFO.

I'm with Keyamo on this. If they can't do the work they should resign. This nonsense where employees can decide to hold their employers to ransom at the detriment of students must stop.

I told my mentor and people around me when this strike started new

I told them this strike is going to end when buhari leaves office..
The next elected present is going to be the one that will end this strike..
You know why?

1)Buhari has nothing again at stake, if it was when he was vying for second term, it would have been understandable and he would have worked to end it as we had during his second tenure run

2) ASUU themselves are stupid and selfish, why will they ask for 1.2 trillion at this time of the economy?
Why will they asked to be paid using another platform in the name of utas when others are been enrolled in ippis? Are they sacred cows?

Gorvenment University lecturers are one of the most corrupt in the Nigerian institutions.. they use outdated 190's handouts to teach and they loot and collect bribes as well.

3) this is a clear case of when unstoppable force clashes with unmovable object..

As for me, I am indifferent on the strike even thoor it affects me directly as it also halts my academic activities.. but am so so indifferent and as a fact the 2 of them should go choke on their uncle's dìck.

If u know what ASUU knows, u will do worse than they are doing. When u know there's nowhere Ur employer will get Ur replacements without compromising competency, u will hold Ur employer for blokus.

There are shortages of experienced PhD holders who are willing to work in the work-environment Lecturers in Federal universities are working as it stands; so the lecturers will always be bargain their way in any negotiation . If division no dey among the lecturers it will hard for government to force them back to work

I think some state universities are gradually pulling out of the strike..

It might be obvious that some of them have substitute jobs because it's obvious since their salaries are held, hunger go soon catch them

The problem with this is that you seem to assume that the government cares whether they remain on strike for the next 6 years. You are assuming ASUU is NLC or NUPENG that can halt economic activities when they go on strike and make FG tremble.

As they are on strike, the children of those in government are either outside the country or in private universities. They should continue the strike, when hunger hits them, the division that will end the strike must come.

Yes now. Some northern states that are poor still pay their past governors pension running into millions yearly......Can u imagine.

Now I don't hate northern states by only highlighting them, but we can always know that states in the SS and SE make more money from their 13% oil derivation and states like Lagos and Ogun make really much IGR and all. But some northern states that make very little IGR ; have citizens that don't pay tax like those in the South etc and yet they still engage in such foolishness of making laws that make ex governors burden to the state. The thing just be like ment.
