You can use any mail to sed message to any Member of Parliament (MP), just make sure the mail is active.. And as to the format, nothing difficult, just a formal way of writing. Just make sure you are polite and soft in your mails to them , remember they are not the ones behind your application delay, they are just there to help make speedy enquires to IRCC.. Hello Kehmy There is nothing like the bolded.. The general processing time for applications outside of Canada is 12 weeks, whether new portal or Old portal.. Can't believe you all are still on this debate of Old portal and new Portal.. It will end in praise.. Peace Kehmy: |

Hello Gascoigne If your school can still admit a deferral for your program, then go ahead and defer and wait for your updated LOA. But if the school says you have exhausted the number of deferrals, then you will have to re-apply for another admission.. Peace gascoigne462: |

Hello skentelelady, Looking at your academic background in agric sci and work experience in an agro allied business, I'll strongly advise you go for an Msc in Agric sci since it's a direct match with your previous degree depending on your grade. This will save you a lot of stress and strengthen your application based on purpose of visit, you wouldn't want your application to suffer any setback based on an issue that can be avoided. You can check out University of Saskatchewan course Agricultural Economics which cut across your stated academic background and work experience https://grad.usask.ca/programs/agricultural-economics.php#Applicationprocess Just an advise though! It'll end in praise for us all! All the best! skentelelady: 1 Like |

Good day all the gurus in the house, please I have a question and clarification regarding my study permit application. My sponsor want to provide 6 months SOA but shaded some information and figures for the month of June, said his bank merge his other acct to his savings account but the sitting balance remains same from his account history, and that the shaded part are personal information. He stays in Alberta. Please will this affect or is there anyway out of this? Please find the attached image below

ademma2022: Hello Ademma2022, A company sponsorship would be ideal if the full tuition can be paid and the LE transferred to you as a commitment demonstration. A one-year study is well in place for company sponsorship, to allow a participating staff to acquire the required workplace knowledge through the study intent. In the absence of financial commitment from the company, it would be best to patronize an individual sponsorship. The crucial documents you will need from the company are: • Source of income proof; • POF; • Board resolution – agreeing to the sponsorship and authorization of the funds to be disbursed for the sponsorship intent; • Evidence of the new office creation (if applicable); • Office Publication announcing the opportunity (if applicable); • Others. Hello House. I am a newbie on the canada study Visa. I have tried to search but nothing has come up. Please are there any universities that offer admission without transcripts? I have a BSc cert in Resource management but do not have any copies of my transcript and I can't get it now until when the strike is over. Please any suggestions on how to go about it? I intend to search for universities that still have their ongoing applications for Winter 2023 |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by JustMellow: 4:49pm On Aug 06, 2022 |
Zbk001: Hello Zbk001, Having a Mpower study loan is no ground for the IRCC financial requirements to be waived, though the required funds to show should be enough after tuition (already handled by MPower) and that can cater to the LE. Another area critically assessed by the officer is the inflows, which may be a factor in the assessment of the means the loan would be paid back without causing future indebtedness. Your employment and level of economic establishment should be reliable. Allowing the MPower study loan to carry the full weight of showing financial availability for the study, would not be appropriate and enough to show proof of funds sufficiency and good economic standing. Hello Gigdraft, From the bolded statement below, are you saying if I submitted a 4-month mbs, IRCC would still be able to view up to 6-months financial transaction history? For example, If I submitted an MBS from January 2022 to April 2022, will IRCC be able to view Nov and Dec 2021 transactions OR view May and June 2022 transactions OR only have access to view Jan to April 2022? Kindly explain further. Thanks. "With the advent of MBS, embassies are accorded the right to 6-month period of your financial transactions. They can see your inflow and outflow. They can spot a lumpsum and query or deny your application for it. (Exline101, I hope you are reading carefully? In your own case, there was deviation from your usual inflow and outflow. And, I am confident that you employed a third-party Cooperate Account.)" 1 Like |

Fativivimat: Amen. Thank you for your detailed response. Since I am looking at Mpower for sponsorship, Uni of Sask isnt on their list. Then their non refundable tuition deposit scared me away. Please advise on this. I have seen 2 courses in another Uni which MBA/MAgric in business analytics and MSc Agric. Both are 2 years in one of Mpower universities. My question is since I am a business woman who's into agro, which would you suggest out of the 2 please? My plan is to keep on with the business even when I am in Canada. Or do you think @ bolded may complicate things? |

Congratulations, i'm happy for you. How did you submit your passport when u got PPR especially since you did not have to do fresh biometrics & may not have the biometrics slip they talk about. What are the documents you submitted alongside your passport, did you have to pay transmission fees? Please give a step by step of what you submitted and what you paid for Abi2022: |

Jesusbabybae: Ogidigan1: Hi Jesusbabybae and Ogidigan1, Commercial banks that have successfully integrated the MBS in their banking system only permit IRCC to view your 6-month transaction. This means, that they are only accorded the right to see what you want them to see. For example, June to November statement. However, I have come across two separate cases where applicants who tried to take advantage of this could not outsmart IRCC. (I am trying to shorten my response as much as I can, as I am quite busy at the moment.) They both paid some Instagram Money Lenders (I am sure some of you have seen those ADs) to fund their account over 6 months. The agents kept paying into their accounts using numerous bank accounts to erase suspicion. Eventually, the deeds were done. MBSes were sent to IRCC. The tickets were attached and applications were submitted. As expected, the money was returned to the owners. Result (Applicant 1) IRCC requested for a new SOA (which is unlike IRCC when MBS is involved) but you know, that is absolutely impossible – the money in the account is gone. Result (Applicant 2) He was rejected based on finance. The GCMS note also, though not explicitly stated, denotes his account was inflated for the sole purpose of her study permit. I am still making additional research on MBS and the limitation imposed on IRCC. I will post my findings here when I am done. However, I will not encourage anyone to withdraw the same fund that they claim is for their education in Canada in pursuit of a contradistinctive objective. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Jesusbabybae:Hello Jesusbabybae, In addition to my former response and to directly answer your question, No! MBS is the best mode of proving your financial strength. The MBS option was introduced to save the time spent on SOA confirmation from financial institutions. There are contexts when IRCC would send authentication request to banks and they won't get the feedback they deserve in time. This causes unnecessary delay and elongates processing time. Trust me, you don't want to find yourself in this spot because it's a long wait. Do you understand now? 9 Likes |
