Nothing will come out of this lawsuit. The guy didn't have result back then, but within 4 years of losing the election he has obviously tied up all loose ends concerning his certificates.

Oyetola is just hanging on at straws and his lawyers are sure going to feed fat on this case till the last day.

It is really close to impossible to call the bluff of a union in a democracy. Even the military administrations could not do that much.

I think The solution is autonomy. Let the universities self fund and charge students accordingly.

This whole free tertiary education is simply no longer sustainable in Nigeria as it is.

Most people from the legacy first gen Universities will always deny it, but they are disadvantaged in the marketplace for high tier entry level jobs. Those are going straight to covenant grads, who are actually taught up to date, relevant curricula for the modern workplace.

As long as we think we can teach everyone for free this will continue.

There is some truth to this

The 2nd part of your post too. Our set was the last set of 1st gen uni to enjoy monopoly, Now most serious middle class parent who cannot afford abroad just send their kids to private Unis

If I dey Naija and my kids have to school in Naija they will surely not go to a public uni

Yes it's difficult to excuse PYO from Buhari's failures, but under the Nigerian constitution the role of a VP is clearly defined as whatever the president assigns to him apart. So Osinbajo has some wiggle room to deny some of the stuff he had no hand in. He's not the commander in chief that is PMB. Yes as a team collectively he will accept blame but every fair person no say no be him cos am.

Of course to win elections you will attach yourself to anything that will make you win, but years from now no reasonable person will say it was PYO that built second niger bridge or lagos-ibadan railway. Same way Atiku can't claim he helped nigeria secure debt relief when it was all OBJ.

Except for playing to the gallery how will his resignation have helped? Plus he had presidential ambitions so it would have made no sense to resign.

PYO has no excuse he is a bigger part of this regime and he shares the success and failure more than Tinubu

PYO can always say "Our administration". The Buhari_Osinbajo administration. Tinubu can never say the Buhari Tinubu administrtion

Diezani Allison madueke was born with silver spoons sticking out of every orifice. The woman was a director in Shell. You cannot begin go imagine the money she had seen.

Yet she went crazy as petroleum minister basically highlighting why obj and now Buhari made themselves substantive petroleum ministers.

You can maybe understand some dude with a poor background being greedy, but a person who had always been rich, always had everything? That is what the Nigerian system, esp in an fg where there are zero consequences and accountability does.

I always say that I am more afraid of fresh legs than the old ones sef. At least the olds ones will be topping up, the new ones will be filling from scratch. I fear an untested man more than the one that was tested and failed. New class of politicians indeed. cheesy
Even Doyin Okupe, the current alias of PO was very corrupt under GEJ, I guess PO anointing has covered him too cheesy Those are the people PO must reward with one position or the other if he wins, then some LP stelwarts who have probably been hoping they get to the top so they can scoop their own share.

Apc can't make the mistake of presenting Osinbajo, if they did, I won't vote him.
There is no way you can separate Buhari's failure from Osinbajo, he is literally bubu's partner in crime against Nigeria. Someone failed as vice president, the next thing is to reward him with presidency, because he can speak plenty English or what? cheesy
APC would have buried themselves if Osinbajo emerged and sadly they didn't.

What happened in nasarawa today was just the Obidients testing the mic.
Nigerians are finally seizing their destinies into their hands.
A breath of fresh air is finally upon us.

This is a clarion call to all the good hearted citizens of Nigeria to join this moving train.
We must break free from the shackles of the evil elite and start anew.

If BAT disassociates himself from Buhari, that is him signing his electoral loss to Atiku. The winner of the elections will be determined by the North and Buhari is still the king of the north. Any other political calculation that undermines Buhari's role, lol, tears and blood will flow.

While I dont want anything to come out of the appeal, go and read the Bayelsa supreme court judgement that gave APC victory to PDP.

Wrong spelling of name in the deputy governor name was what they used to disqualify the Governor claiming it's a joint ticket.

I know the facts of that case and I can tell u it's not a wrong spelling of name that led to the disqualification, it's a totally different name on the certificates that caused the disqualification.
That one changed his Surname from Adeyi-Eremienyo to Degi-Eremienyo.

This Oyetola suit is claiming the affidavit signed and doxuments submitted by Adeleke does not Carry Ademola Adeleke but they listed all the names on his certificates and one thing that was consistent is the name Ademola Adeleke..:: though he used different third name at different points From Ifeanyi to Jackson, to Nurudeen.... But Ademola and Adeleke have always been on all his certificates.

I don't see the court sacking him for that, but sha let's wait and see how the court will reason the matter.

But why will someone from a privileged background treat his official name like nickname that motor park touts change every year. Changing middle name like an illiterate sef is quite ridiculous especially if you are running for office.

This is why obidients were brandishing a ONE page handover note on twitter.

Even entry level workers have larger more detailed handover notes when they go on leave for a week

But obidients beleive the full story of a states finances can be captured in half an a4 sheet.

Bros the only difference in the Bayelsa case was Adeji to Deji. The deputy governor has been using that name since he came into politics, infact he was a senator before he was chosen to be DP of David Lyon and I think hes still a senator sef with the same name.

It's a heist from the Supreme Court and the person that gave the judgement was none other nah Mary Odili, the wife of Peter Odili who actually restrained the EFCC from ever investigating or prosecuting his husband.

If to say Nigerians themselves helps matters, Buhari would have transformed Nigeria..

But you know, naija will always be naija, looking for loopholes to exploit..

Baba has set pace for predecessor..

Akk pipeline

Nigeria Algeria EU pipeline

Siemens power deal

PPP contracts

Railway projects

So many other projects.. I hope the next gorvenment that emerges doesn't leave them to rot away
