Those of you who pay tithes/taxes in the name of Jesus Christ deny yourselves sonship with God by your acts of disobedience 24 Jesus and his followers went to Capernaum. There the men who collect the two-drachma Temple tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your teacher pay the Temple tax?”As Jesus Christ made clear, the Children of God do not pay taxes/Tithe in His name. So, do we ignore Jesus Christ so we can instead follow the doctrines and traditions of men(and their churches) instead? 36 Likes 4 Shares |

Jesus died for everything! He does not need your money! You can support God ministry with money, but isaying you giving God money while a mere man is spending it, is scam 52 Likes 4 Shares |

Any human who believes that whoever made this universe will need ANYTHING from a human is a Big he-goat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1TryP_z07aU Only a fool will give MONEY to a human being and think in his mind that he has given the money to the creator of the universe. Don't fall for those thieves who go about telling you the creator of the universe needs a certain percentage of your income, those thieves who claimed to be called by God to do his "WORK" Please ask them who they are to work for GOD ? Ask them what work they did for God when he made the universe ? God doesn't need "shishi" from any being. The thieves are the ones who need your money for private jets and exotic cars. And to build expensive schools and hospitals. 64 Likes 6 Shares

CoronaVirusRelo:What ministry did Jesus Christ specifically ask any of you to support with your money though? Jesus Christ never asked any such of any of His followers to fund any of what you call ministries, yet you all believe that by giving free money to your pastors and mogs who are businessmen, the same men who fed you lies that God said this, and whose kingdoms on this earth you fund with your support money, you somehow do God's work. Isn't that foolishness? 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Kobojunkie: The church will pay bills. They have electricity, water, rent, transport, maintenance, laundry e.t.c If the members don’t fund, how will a church survive? I am against tithing, but supporting the church is not a sin and it’s not mandatory. 53 Likes 4 Shares |

CoronaVirusRelo:1. Did Jesus Christ command any of His followers to build what you call your churches in His name, to begin with? 2. Did Jesus Christ send any of His followers out to pay electricity, water, rent, transport, maintenance, laundry, etc., using His name to solicit money to do so? 3. Did Jesus Christ give any of His followers permission to use His Name in soliciting donations of any kind from others, even those who belong to His flock? 25 Likes 3 Shares |

Kobojunkie: The passage you quoted is about Taxes, not Tithes. And here is the next verse after the one you quoted: Mat 17:27 KJV Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. You can make your point without trying to twist scriptures to say what it didn't say. If we are to go buy by your logic, then Jesus later paid the tithe regardless of the motivation. You see why you should never lift scriptures out of context to fit into your own beliefs? Blessings! 22 Likes 1 Share |

unstoppable51:1. God's Tithing system is the Tax system that He set up for the Nation of Israel in the Land of Canaan. 2. The problem isn't me but your lack of understanding of what it is you cling so much to. The Tithing system was set up by God as a way for the people to pay their taxes in His Name, and the temple tax is one of the taxes that was paid by the people in God's name. As Jesus Christ explained clearly in Matthew 17 vs 24 - 27, only those who are not Children of the King pay taxes/Tithes in God's Name. 6 Likes 1 Share |

Kobojunkie: Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Hebrew 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Acts 2:46-47 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. 1 Corinthians 3:17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 12 Likes 1 Share |

CoronaVirusRelo:The above does not say anything about building a place to gather in the Name of Jesus Christ, does it? Nor does it indicate permission to pay bills in Jesus Christ's name. Neither does it assign any man permission to use Jesus Christ's name in soliciting funds for paying any bills. Please carefully examine the questions I asked. You all claim Jesus Christ is your savior and that your worship only Him, so I don't expect you to have a hard time pointing out clear answers to the questions asked. Again... 1. Did Jesus Christ command any of His followers to build what you call your churches in His name, to begin with? 2. Did Jesus Christ send any of His followers out to pay electricity, water, rent, transport, maintenance, laundry, etc., using His name to solicit money to do so? 3. Kobojunkie: I shared scriptures with you about gathering in the name of God. Do you still dispute any of those verses? When people gather? Won’t they need funds required for such gathering? In a world of today, a gathering of people will DEFINITELY require funds. You cannot worship anything without expenses. Witches and wizards require funds, Confraternity's require funds. So it’s a basic to use funds to set up a place of worship. Is their any religion in the world that does not have a place of worship? I don’t even get the point you trying to emphasize here. Are you saying people should not worship in one accord? Meaning you have a problem with every religion in the world. 12 Likes |

CoronaVirusRelo:1. Posting random verses that mention something about gatherings answers none of the specific questions which I asked you, and I am sure you are quite aware of this yourself even though you seem to feign ignorance of this. By the way, Jesus Christ did command a gathering of His church but this in order to resolve disputes among members - Matthew 18 vs 15-20 - nothing like your typical church gatherings, and He certainly said nothing about building anything or paying bills in His name. Nor did He say anything about soliciting funds using His name. So, why do you do all these things that you do today pretending you do it for God when God never asked any of you to do these things in His name? 2. So because you assume you need funds, you then believe it is oK, this without permission from God, to use God's name for your funds-gathering campaigns? Don't you know it is a sin against God to use His name for any of that which He never gave you permission for? 3. My point is in your desire to be like every other group and religion out there - witches and wizards, confraternities, sango, etc. - these acts you undertake in your churches and assemblies are in direct violation of God's own Law to you and that is a sin against God. |

In the Old Covenant the Tabernacle and Temple were built by humans so the monetary tithing was introduced to maintain the worship in the system but in the New Covenant that was not built by humans the tithing God demanded is not monetary! John 2:19 Christ is the New temple and members of the congregation are his BODY or BUILDING {Ephesians 4:12} so the maintenance of the temple doesn't need monetary tithing, it has been CHANGED! Hebrews 7:11-12 God bless you and may you have PEACE! 3 Likes |

When pro-tithers are ready to show us where God specifically mentioned money as part of the items to be tithed, then they should know that monetary tithing is unscriptural. When God required money for the needs of the Temple, He specifically mentioned where all Israelite males should be levied a temple tax of half a shekel every year. That was an instance of God clearly asking for money. Refer to Exodus 30 v 13-16 for where God gave the instruction through Moses;BASED ON THE ABOVE, IT WAS CLEAR WHEN & HOW GOD ASKED FOR MONEY TO MAINTAIN THE TEMPLE... NOW LET US EXAMINE GOD'S REQUIREMENT FOR TITHES BELOW; Refer to Deuteronomy 14 v 22-29; Based on the above verses, God clearly mentioned what is titheable, and money was not part of the items to be tithed. IN CONCLUSION: Any fraudster that comes with the excuse that money was not in use because the Israelites were predominantly farmers and cattle rearers...should read Exodus 30 v 13-16 and explain to us why God demanded money from these same Israelites...but specified crops and livestock as tithes in Deuteronomy 14 v 22-29; Also, I'll be waiting for scriptural references where God made tithing mandatory for gentiles as well. 7 Likes |

Freezer is WRONG It is specifically stated in the new testament that giving tithe is not a sin, instead Jesus condemned those that prefer to tithe when their heart is not pure and there are other weightier issues, HE specifically said "you cannot focus on one aspect and neglect the other" Matthew 23:23 (KJV) Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Luke 18:12 (KJV) I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. Hebrews 7:5-9 (KJV) And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: Jesus specifically said that HE did not come to abolish the LAW nor condemn it, but to fulfill it. 3 Likes |

If you truly encountered God and you are genuine follower of Jesus without having hope in anything else, then you will know that you must give a portion to your God to show love and sustain relationship. Daddy Freeze reads bible like a story book and a deviated a lot of young ones astray. Check the fruits of freeze and all his steps till date, you will not see the seed of God in him. Be careful with such men. Personally get close to the holy spirit. The scriptures was authored by the holy spirit and as God spake unto those men, so it is the spirit that can bring interpretation. Tithing is not as important as your faith, mercy, love and justice as spoken by Jesus in Luke 11.42, but he required us to do it also. At least for the babes. If you get higher in God you will submit more than that. I can't pay 10 percent of my earning to God and I have been running like that for more than 10 years and I earn less than 100k in Lagos. But God has been very faithful. The last time I visited an hospital for any treatment, or even ordinary malaria was 2007 June and he has removed many leakages from my life process and entire family. By Grace, God enabled me to set a pillar for my entire family and even clan. I did this because I want to be just in my business and my place of work. I don't have any other hope than Jesus. I am a disciple. The Standard of the new testament is that we should drop all at the feet of the master to become a disciple. Peter said we have forsaken all followed thee what shall we have therefore. . Matt 19.27 The apostles(that Freeze usually refer to) shared all the had amongst themselves that was why they wrought signs in the measure and manner of Jesus. I don't have a church. . But I am speaking as a witness and a seasoned intercessor. A man has to be broken, for God to elivate him. A man that does not have Jesus in him cannot disciple any man coz Jesus is discipler. Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. Do you know how much followers of priests of darkness pay to as homage on a monthly basis to sustain their evil gods. Just 10 percents, Christians will still be debating. . Be holy, they will still not want to hear, and they want to work in power. LOL. Alms and lendings have their sperate place. May God expand these things. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

unstoppable51:Why do you all avoid Deuteronomy 14 when talking about tithe That is the only place in the Bible with clear instructions on how to pay tithe ...very very detailed explanation of what tithe is but you all suspiciously ignore it Bible says gather your produce divide by 10 and take one part to the house of the lord you choose ,if the goods are too heavy sale it convert it to money use it to buy what so ever you desire come to the house of God and eat ... anything including strong wine ...yes strong wine ,as you eat remember the pastor's and the poor Never never no where did it say hand your tithe over to your preacher After 7 years you use the tithe to buy food keep outside your gate so the poor can eat But no you ignore this whole instruction and read what you feel like 2 Likes |
