Dear brothers & sisters in ministry,
Please I'm at a crossroad & in need of some pro insights. I want to apply for my study permit.

My company is standing as my sponsor, they are willing to provide me company bank statement to backup my application.

My concern is that on the IRCC website (screenshot attached), they only mentioned "letter from the person or school giving you money" nothing was said about a company sponsoring their employee.

What do you think?

Thank you in advance

I tell you IRCC didn’t put that option there as many people will come up with documents stating that their company would sponsor them. If your company wants to sponsor you, they can help you fulfill the many other items on that list. One is settlement of your at least one year fees, another is providing you with a bank draft for the fees and living expenses... those will satisfy proof of fund.

Thanks Makano. I appreciate the response

Hello Gascoigne

If your school can still admit a deferral for your program, then go ahead and defer and wait for your updated LOA.

But if the school says you have exhausted the number of deferrals, then you will have to re-apply for another admission..

Peace

I joined the thread ending July.
Please I have a question
My mum is my sponsor and I will be submitting her company’s documents for my application but the SOA I will be using is her personal account which is also her business account but not registered as the company’s business account.
Is it okay to use or must it be a business account?
If i can I use it, do I need to explain the lump sum amount that her customers pay into the account?
**She doesn’t have a company account**.[please I need a reply]

submitting for someone using new portal today. only document requested to upload is below. seems they dont want bunch of docs anymore

letter of acceptance
proof of receipt of funding
national id
passport
POF
supporting documents

can see anywhere stating sop

The new portal takes away the need to fill the pdf-like forms and electronically sign on them in the old Portal.

All you do on the new portal is fill out the responses and then attach your supporting documents (your sop and other documents you feel would make your application standout) at the end before you transmit and pay your application fees.

Good luck.

Your POf document should contain all financial documents, affidavit of sponsorship, letter of sponsorship, property documents etc
Supporting documents should contain all applicant documents like sop, loe, certificates etc
Consent information can be any other documents that couldnt be added to the other 2 due to file size of documents uploaded. I hope this helps

It happens. Some people have this kind of error. It is more likely the Canadian embassy know you have done your biometrics

All this una SOA stories.
There is nothing different.
The only different there is MBS as shown authenticity because its sent through the bank official mail and they can only view it with the ticket I'd you sent to them.
Note: this will also sent to them in pdf but without stamp and signature.

For the printed SOA need to be signed and stamped but not guaranteed the authenticity.
Therefore, IRCC may and may not go ahead and send the SOA to the bank for confirmation and the bank will sent it to the branch for verification.

From somebody work experience.

Gigdraft:

Hi Jesusbabybae and Ogidigan1,

Commercial banks that have successfully integrated the MBS in their banking system only permit IRCC to view your 6-month transaction. This means, that they are only accorded the right to see what you want them to see. For example, June to November statement. However, I have come across two separate cases where applicants who tried to take advantage of this could not outsmart IRCC. (I am trying to shorten my response as much as I can, as I am quite busy at the moment.)

They both paid some Instagram Money Lenders (I am sure some of you have seen those ADs) to fund their account over 6 months. The agents kept paying into their accounts using numerous bank accounts to erase suspicion.

Eventually, the deeds were done. MBSes were sent to IRCC. The tickets were attached and applications were submitted. As expected, the money was returned to the owners.

Result (Applicant 1)

IRCC requested for a new SOA (which is unlike IRCC when MBS is involved) but you know, that is absolutely impossible – the money in the account is gone.

Result (Applicant 2)
He was rejected based on finance. The GCMS note also, though not explicitly stated, denotes his account was inflated for the sole purpose of her study permit.

I am still making additional research on MBS and the limitation imposed on IRCC. I will post my findings here when I am done. However, I will not encourage anyone to withdraw the same fund that they claim is for their education in Canada in pursuit of a contradistinctive objective.

You get the idea. Gbam case close.

Gigdraft:
Hello Jesusbabybae,

In addition to my former response and to directly answer your question, No! MBS is the best mode of proving your financial strength. The MBS option was introduced to save the time spent on SOA confirmation from financial institutions.

There are contexts when IRCC would send authentication request to banks and they won't get the feedback they deserve in time. This causes unnecessary delay and elongates processing time. Trust me, you don't want to find yourself in this spot because it's a long wait.

Do you understand now?

Hello guys, please I have a question.
My journey for this canada immigration has been very long.
The the plan is for my mum, brother and I to all leave for Canada.
Last year my study permit application was approved but I was unable to meet up with the travel date specified on my counter foil.
My mum(47) and brother also applied for visit visas on my mum’s GCKey profile with reason being to visit me. (We never got any update on them so we wrote to cancel the applications)

My mum applied this year for a study permit and it was approved to the glory of God.
My new study permit application is underway and hopefully it will end in praise.

Now the problem is that we had submitted a new visit visa for my brother who is 16 on the new portal.
We both went for our upfront medicals and they were updated on the 3rd of August.
Something just told me to check and lo and behold the old visit visa application was also updated to “Medicals passed”
Is it wrong to have two visit visa applications concurrently?
What should we do?

Good evening House.

Please, are there specifications as to the type of box (or bag) one can travel with?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by daezy22: 7:17pm On Aug 07, 2022
It is safer and preferable to use her personal account, you do not have any problem at all.

Hi there. For the lump sum, if you are certain that they are lump sums (inconsistent with the usual deposits into the account, then there’s need to explain it, so that the visa officer doesn’t assume the account was inflated solely for your application)

You can say some customers do pay into her account and she retains her profit and put back the cost price back into the business. This is just a thought, feel free to use your own words or explanation.
