He feels very calm.

How has your nomination week been?

It has been pretty good. He's sure everyone was expecting him to be angry, given he and Hermes were Lockdown roommates, he understands it too. Although they clicked on a universal level, they are here for a specific reason, they aren't here to be buddy buddy. He is a realist and he always knew this was a possibility. It has been emotional for others, but pretty logical for him.


Why did you decide to come on the show?

He wanted to try something new; something that intrigued and scared him. When he feel fear, he likes to go through them. The platform would also be good for him, he struggles a lot, even though he still stays with his parents, he wants to be a man. Being able to successfully do what he wants and eat from it, is what this show can do for him.

Do you think you have achieved some of those objectives?

Yes, he does. To the extent he has been allowed to. He thanks Biggie for that

Friendships made in the house?

They have been good, and also rocky. He learnt something new, how to deal with tipsy people. As a Muslim, he doesn't gravitate to people who drink, so, it was something new learned. The friendships in this house have challenged some of the things he did not know coming to the house, so, the friendships have been good.


Do you see the friendships going beyond the bosje?

On his end, he does. He cannot speak for the others in the house. He feels everyone has a value to give, that is his definition of friendship. Every relationship is transactional, even if one may think it is selfless. Even being beautiful is selfish, because when you look good, you feel good ....anyway, he will still want to keep in touch outside.

Who and what will you miss most?

Daniella, because he never expected her.
He came into the house strongly against relationships, but meeting her has been unexpected and he really likes that. It has given him more focus to fight for more and be more. She is an intelligent woman, and keeping such a woman would mean she has to be more. He hasn't told her this, but her presence in his life would help him be more eager to leave the nest and go out to be a man. He is not saying the relationship will last long though. He will definitely miss her so much.

The way these Trenches attack Ilebaye's age is disgusting. As if it's a cardinal sin to be 21. To say things like I have someone your age at home. Phyna saying her younger brother is 21. Bryann saying she's younger than his younger sister. Just ridiculous
