Midfield general nwakali, special skill set marshall, the only one that can increase our ball possession is who una dey use play for here grin grin grin he be like una know want make Nigeria qualify for next nation's cup because without him I don't see us progressing so make una dey give sinior man him salute wink
You have eyes!!! I watched Liverpool highlights and even Man Utd, those two teams are begging for an orchestrator and midfield conductor generalissimo. Why can't they just sign Nwakali for goodness sakes!!!!! And Xavi too, in spain, the heir apparent to me is in his sokoto yet he is letting the many opportunities to sign him go to west. I hope he doesn't get to retire before the world realizes and fully appreciate the value of Ajiballer.

The difference between Haaland and Osimhen?

Inevitability.

Haaland is inevitable.

Why is Haaland so inevitable?

He is assured in his finishing. You could take a snapshot of just after De Bruyne played that pass, and 99 out of 100 people could bet their house Haaland would score that. That is the difference.

Osimhen has really improved in his finishing, take Sao Tome as a data point. However, he has been really hit and miss in preseason, heavily leaning towards miss. If he can replicate his Sao Tome finishing consistently, he will eat this season.

The problem really is consistency. Today, Osi could get only 2 chances and finish both. Tomorrow, he could get 9 and miss 8. Adding that consistency in finishing makes both your teammates and scouts/other clubs be confident in your ability, allowing them to rely on you more (cc Haaland making City change their style of play to suite him).

Ese Brume’s gold medal means Nigeria has now won its most gold at a single CWG - 12.

The prior record was 11 gold medals won in 1994, 2010, and 2014

Expecting at least 3-4 gold next olympics.

Doctor,"Sao Tome as a data point" I will never rate Osimehn with Sao Tome performance, before the match I said Sao Tome match for Osimehn na cruise O......but one thing am very sure World will soon know what Osimehn is made of if he remains calm and dedicated with no side distraction. He need to move from Napoli cos am not really sold on Napoli as a team.

Yes with private investors involves in our athletes but without forget it.....I remember Segun Odagbami as an individual took over Chioma Ajunwa training programs and meets and this resulted to gold in Atlanta 96.Ogun state governor presently doing the same thing for Tosin Amusan. What these athletes need is money to run their programs, with availability of funds,no need to run in unnecessary meets before Olympics.

My man, what is really happening to our men in athletics.

I know those guys underachived but its looking like they have some ballers that should be the backbone of the SEs soon Off the top
Samson Tijani- RB Salsburg
Akinkumi Amoo- FC Copenhagen
Olusegun Olakunle- FC Krasnador( Dude dropped a brace vs Ejuke's parent club)
Ibrahim Said- FC Viborg
Daniel Francis- Bayern Munich out on loan
Shaibu Suleman- GK for TP Mazambe
Malcolm Ebowei- Crystal Palace. Trained with the team. Really Should have been part of the final team but for Naija Wuruwuru and Magomago.
I hope Pizarro will hand him a callup in September before England start sniffing around.

Yeah, Sunday Dare initiated the "sponsor an athlete program". Some of them are being sponsored by third party. For the men's performance, well its always been that way.

It was just inevitable. A world record holder over the 100m hurdles and in the form of her life now running the 100m flat bend from the start? And with Ofili, Chukwuma and Nwokocha all top rated top 5 100m Naija runners this season? There was only one outcome. I did the maths perfectly. wink grin

Meanwhile.... it's a shame I couldn't be here to throw more light on the win, our boys' 4x100m bronze and Ese Brume's Games record Jump for Gold (like she did at age 18-19 in 2014. She missed the 2018 commonwealth games).

The reason why I was absent is due to the Nairaland Spambots. They interfered again as I was about to drop a detailed reply to Lovewins on why I feel a Gold was coming for the Girls and a medal for the boys. I was certain but also wanted to point out a few things.

In all, thanks goodness, we emerged with smiles and have finally amassed the highest number of Gold medals ever at the Commonwealth... with ALL 12 GOLD MEDALS WON BY THE NAIJA LADIES.

It is our OFFICIAL. OUR LADIES ARE WORLD CLASS.

Sadly, I cannot say same for The Nairaland spambots. They always hop in as spoilsports for good posts. So I guess I would have to reduce the frequency at which I reply or post in here for the time being just to get the bots off my scent for a while.

NL spambots' palava are too much and I don't have an alt acct and I insist I won't create one.

It is well.

Congrats to us again. cool

Doc what are the winning lottery numbers for this week? grin Nice one bro you called it. Was a bit worried about the Jamaicans.

My heart is so full right now! World class athlete in Amusan and Brume. Not forgetting the huge potentials We have in Favour Ofili, Nwochocha, Ashe plus the female wrestlers.

Nice but Ejuke's parent club isn't Lokomotiv Moscow.

Said's club is Viborg FF... not FC Viborg.

And our senior coach's name isn't Pizarro.

I know it's copied but you for help correct am too naa. grin

Anyway, he's right. The 2019 U17 Class are making nice progress but Olakunle and Amoo are obviously currently ahead in terms of their development right now.

I hope for more big things from the lads as with others.

Osimhen vice-captain for Napoli is enroute to legendary status. Cavani, Higuain didn't reach these heights.
