it's been pretty much a daily driver for me, car runs and drives great.
A bit of context:
Not your average vehicle and definitely not for everyone. Maintenance isn't bad if you keep to schedule and don't cheapen out. Parts are generally very durable as long as original replacement parts are used. It has been very reliable and durable.
It's got LOADS of power and the torque curve is immense, it pulls all the way on the rev band, no kidding there.
Engine and transmission are in top shape, no issues, no hassle.
It's not a "perfect vehicle" but no major issues. scuff on paint, night vision and distronic system are iffy - they are fixable, but i haven't had the time. FYI - I mostly work on my cars, except for things i am not equipped to handle.

No your eyes are intact! I've had this car on my list for a while and I was lucky to have had the opportunity to own and use it for a while. There's something else on the horizon.

But dare I say, it's one of the best cars I've owned and used and I've had my fair share over the years. Mercedes did a very good job jamming it full of everything - power, luxury and comfort for its time. And it still has a LOT of presence.
