Please how can one get BTA from the bank? I heard I have to book a return ticket for that. Is there a way around it because all I need is just a one way ticket. Is it possible to cash back the return after getting the BTA?

No I haven't done biometrics yet. I intend applying by Aug 18th when POF matures.

I'd advise you book the appointment as soon as possible. Book it for the closest date after your POF matures.

In my case it turned out that what I intended to use as POF won't work, so I'm now working on generating that again (meaning 28 days, again). I've booked my Biometrics for the 5th of Sept, and can do nothing but hope I get my VISA before my school's lateness deadline. undecided If you wait until the 18th of August to book the biometrics appointment, you will not find any nearby dates and it will end up delaying you. Unless you intend to try a walk-in appointment with N42k sha.

My God, of all the things that could've happened to me...

I went to Tls vi yesterday for my appointment, paid for assisted service and all, and not until I got home did I remember that we didn't upload my TB test

I had the results and the copies but it wasn't on the checklist so It just skipped my mind in the stress and all...

Am I in soup or they'll send a NsF mail to that regard?

Or what do I do? I can't lose all that effort, money and time pls

Please did you do walkin or booked earlier. I want to know if walkin is possible at VI TLS. I am a single applicant

I believe the emboldened statement speaks to the references i have already made as per different institutions and entry requirements.

However in this instance, when we compare apples to apples, the enquirer i believe has mentioned that their undergrad transcript is available hence the request to prioritize this document.

widesmile:
Nothing is cast on stone, I have a Master degree in computer science and a BSc in computer science, I have my master transcript but didn't have my BSc transcript, the agent insisted I get my BSC transcript and that would cost me time and money I went ahead and searched for schools myself, the 2 school I choose gave me an unconditional offer and edge it on my Masters degree. All I did was proof why I decided to narrow down to Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence[/b]. Although I submitted my BSc certificate but none of them asked me for the BSc transcript

Only working days count. Today is your day 13, meaning just over 2 weeks

Please explain. Saying the advice is wrong without even saying why doesn't help anybody. I was helped on this site which is why I am only trying to do the same, but if you can educate me even further I would be grateful, and so would anyone else who comes across these posts.

Edit: Also, using the word 'suicidal' is too much na, lol. I know we all want to japa as soon as possible but let's not reinforce any negative thoughts in anyone's head, please. I'm fully prepared to spend another year in my attempt (in fact I believe it is quite likely I will at this point). Money is wasted, time is wasted, but it is not the end of the world.

At what stage do you mean? Because I am referring to booking your appointment at TLS Contact, which can only be done after you've completed the VISA application online and have paid for IHS and the Student VISA fee (as the case may be. I'm not sure if different circumstances require different payments, but this is a student visa thread).

We're on the same page. I was confused cos the person. U replied to haven't applied for visa by virtue of pof not maturing yet and I didn't initially see the part you said he should book after pof matures.

Hello. Is it okay to book return ticket even when you need to book one way ticket? I am seeing return that is way cheaper than one way for 3persons on Qatar airlines website.

If you've been following this group, you would've understand why it's advisable to apply for visa only when your 28 days elapsed.

While some have done it successfully (very few), a WHOLE LOT of people's application have been refused because their fund is not yet mature when they applied.

Please is the date of visa application the date you finalised your application by submitting after uploading the whole documents?
Or is it deemed that you have applied after paying for IHS and Visa fee?

I see where the confusion is coming from. I am not telling him to apply/submit his documents before his POF matures. I am telling him to book the appointment for the submission (which goes with biometrics) now, and set it for a date that will allow him to go quickly after his POF matures. Because if he waits for the 18th of August to arrive before he tries to book the appointment at TLS, the available dates he will find there will not make him happy at all.

I hope it's clearer now.

For me, the date of VISA application is the day you've been to TLS and finished with them, because that is when the VISA processing actually starts. Not after the IHS/VISA fee payments.

The date of application is the day you pay for IHS AND VISA. So, if your POF has not mature, it's not advisable to pay.

Hello everyone. 2 of my dependents were asked to change their time slots( we initially booked 10:15 and 11:15 unknowingly) and I had to buy assisted service for a letter date so that they would allow us go as a family.

My concern is that I had uploaded all their documents through self service and submitted but we didn’t use the assisted service yesterday.

I checked our applications today and I realised that while our upload button is showing and now idle since we have done biometrics. Theirs is not showing at all.

I hope this assisted service has not cancelled the documents I had uploaded and submitted prior. Please help. Thank you

Hello guys. If you're using a Post-study Work Permit in UK (after graduating), is it possible to travel outside UK to Nigeria and re-enter UK anytime you like while on a PGWP?

I believe Yes, 'RhylanTraveller' post has clarified this
An applicant can not get a date for biometrics until after IHS and Visa fee payment
Samcathe:

The date of application is the day you pay for IHS AND VISA. So, if your POF has not mature, it's not advisable to pay.
