It impossible for Ruto to lose if you know Kenya politics. Mt kenya (Kikuyu & it cousins are largest tribe in kenya) is elephant in the room. Add Kalenjin - you're already in 40 percent plus. At that point Ruto is simply looking for top up votes.

You didnt know Ruto - I have watched Ruto closely since 2001.

He is gifted. He is briliant. He is a complete politician. Smart, decisive, ambitious, go-getter and for Uhuru-Moi - very brutal. The guys who are suppose to rig Raila now - are busy packing their bags now - and will fly out tomorrow or this week. For once Ruto become President - he will make their life hell on earth. The rulers are just stupid. If over the years they've been serious with investment in gas production and export they would have done a lot of partnership in that sector with gas multinationals. That would have solved Nigeria's forex cash flow by some extent.

Grain production is another we need to step up. Nigeria imports way too much wheat and for awhile now Buhari has introduced a 15% tax on wheat imports. That's why a regular loaf of bread goes for#600 now. There's heat resistant wheat that Nigeria can grow with success. And the southern governors should do more about food production. But t our leaders are just stupid, unimaginative and uncreative buffoons. I just hope we get it right in 2023.

Around February, we went to inspect some shipment of wheat, a special kind of wheat that the FG, through CBN imported from Mexico, to be planted across some northern states, because that's where the wheat will grow. These wheat is said to give 10x production of what we produce. This is not them say them say matter, I used my korokoro eyes see am, na 3 ships bring am for here, I climb to the base of the ships to see the seeds. We spent 5 days going to and from apapa when the shipment landed.

Loro kan, 400 trucks of wheat seeds found their way to be distributed to wheat farmers across the northern states to be planted and Nigeria should be easing itself of wheat issue. Omo, recently, I asked my oga about the wheats, he shook his head and said the farmers sold the seeds to some wealthy men over there and the wealthy men are exporting it to neighboring countries to be sold at profit. Omo, wheat wey FG bought expensively, wealthy men took advantage of the poor farmers and bought most in bulk from them at a cheaper price.

So I asked, sebi government know about this? they can't say they don't know.... Omo, las las, na dem dem dey do d runs.

Baba, naija don cast, I comot my hand for anything naija. So don't blame the govt on most things, they're doing their possible best but we, the citizens consciously or unconsciously constitute majority of the problems we face.

Same thing happened with metering in 2020. Government spent money to ensure free metering, but what do we have instead? It's been sold all over at very huge profits.

The problem is also the Government. When there is no system or accountability in anything, that's what you get. Government have also given several loans to people at low interest rates to start their businesses in agriculture, and what did they do with them? Your guess is as good as mine, they japaed to expensive schools in the West where they now pay tuition fees.

Government should have controlled things strictly and there should have been systems and laws preventing these things. But no, they just release money or products and that's all. You don't do things that way.

A part of the reason why the naira is skyrocketing today as well as inflation is that the amount of naira pumped into the economy since 2020 COVID to kickstart the economy from the pandemic recession is not commensurate with the economic growth. Growth is just at an average of 3% yearly and doesn't justify the naira pumped into the economy to create more goods and services. So there is a massive naira cash in the economy more than before, meant to create more goods and services, but a lot of the citizens are not using the cash to do the needful due to corruption and there is no system in place by Government for check and balances, what you then get is high inflation.
