No. He accepted worship simply because it was right! And he's being worshipped to this day. Don't you think God would have wiped all that out if it were offensive to Him? Imagine the wrath of God if it were so. Infact it is the first commandment. That's how important it is. But instead people are visibly blessed worshipping Lord Jesus.
