It is obvious Obituary's cult-like supporters, who are majorly active biafran apologists & IPOB terrorist supporters have no respect for their elders..

The Obi's fanatic and cult-like supporters won't shut every dissenting voice or hold this country to ramson solely because Peter Obi is vying for the office of the presidency.

Even here on NL, the sane and likeable ones are izzou and few others...

Tinubu was a governor for 8yrs and is a politician
Obi was a governor for 8yrs and is a politician

Can we see those who worked with them to give their reports?

We have been seeing fellow governors, fellow politicians give glowing accounts of their time with Tinubu

How many fellow governor can say the same about Obi.

No reference check from colleagues, former employers just a lot of Trust me bro!!

Obi in thjs video said he lives in Nigeria and doesn't need to buy house in America cos its only costs him $200 to get there.

Americans should live in Nigeria, Obi said. Nigerians should live in Nigeria. Foreigners don't buy house in Nigeria. Why should nigeriams buy house Abroad

Same Obi is in another video talking about how he bought his house in London back in 1996.

He probably use 200 dollars to buy flight ticket there and purchased the property in cowries.

Sam

Imagine someone saying we don't want recycled politicians yet point to a man who was governor for 8yrs, VP just 4yrs ago.

What has Obi done in the past 20yrs outside politics

...driven by production.

This man is proposing a new order, a paradigm shift from the old order that has plunged Nigeria into the abyss and prevented her from reaching her full potential.

According to Niccolo Machiavelli, "...there is nothing more difficult and dangerous, or more doubtful of success, than an attempt to introduce a new order of things…"

Significant change alters power structures, shifts responsibilities, and disrupts the status quo, affecting those who benefit from the corrupted and flawed system. These individuals derive their true influence, power, and resources from the current skewed, inequitable, and corrupted system. As a result, they will do whatever it takes to maintain the status quo.

Therefore, as we work to save Nigeria, we should expect opposition from those who benefit from the country's current state of chaos. But we must neither tremble nor falter if a developed, egalitarian, and prosperous Nigeria is to be realized in our lifetime. It shouldn't be just a mirage.

We, the youths, have the opportunity to start a chain reaction that will make this happen, and Peter Obi is that opportunity.

You do know that 2022 was the very first time Obi vied for office under PDP?
He didn't seek the party's ticket in 2019, Peter Obi was literally dragged to the PDP from APGA. Immediately he joined, he was appointed a special advicer to the president on finance and later was made the chairman Nigerian securities and exchange commission. He became the regulatory overseer over the Nigerian stock market.

And then atiku recognizing his immense value and personal integrity hand picked him as a vice so as to cover for his own corruption ridden image.

Obi defecting to the LP should be hailed as a highly courageous thing to do.
He is already an overachiever. A single man leading a parabolic movement. He has raised the consciousness of a nation, he has given the average masses a chance to run through him and use him as a vehicle for revolution.

He is a breath of fresh air from the ugly nastiness of corrupt officials.
The only Eastern governor not to go to Senate, the only governor not to receive a single penny from the state coffers. That's the integrity we seek.
That's the modern day saint in african politics. A shining light upon the nation.

I still commend you my brother for at least camping with him. Together we would make our country great!

Wow, you are really helpless, aren't you? cheesy
The only thing that can cure you is definitely Obi getting there and doing what our past presidents have done; get power and become clueless.
Obi left PDP because he saw defeat in primaries, if he didn't, he would have stayed.
Going by your the bolded is Okowa meant to cover Atiku's corruption ridden image too or is Obi the only Saint with redemption power cheesy
I can see your whitewashing attempts, and I don't believe it, one has to have a certain level of delusion to believe it.

Finally, like I said sometimes back, not everyone that will vote for Obi will be obidient, I can agree that he is slightly better than the rest (of course that why I decided to vote him), but I will never stand for all this whitewashing BS.

I think he left because he wouldn't have been VP if Atiku won.

The electoral law won't allow you to contest for two political positions within one year.

This was part of the reasons why Wike couldn't be picked to deputise Atiku

Why did he contest for the presidential primaries in the first place?
I think he contested for the primaries when he saw that the VP slot was not on the table again.

He contested the primaries as usual. Even Atiku said he would pick Obi if he wins the primary. So that was already settled.

Like I said, Obi was already comfortable with VP until 3 days to the primaries

He must have realised he can't be VP if he contests, so he resigned and joined any random party to have a chance....And luckily for him, it's paying off.

I don't really think it's about the VP slot, even though it's an option. Atiku already assured him that they would go again

If you can't be VP after contesting the primaries, why was Wike being considered as Atiku's running mate?
Note that I am not disputing you, just want some clarifications.

Lol...this was a funny way to twist what he said sha, Peter Obi and members of his immediate family have been running business in the UK since the mid 1990's, it stands to reason that he would have a property in the UK. I'm sure he has very little business in the US, and that's why he said there's no point owning property there, unlike your typical Nigerian politician that would own properties all around the world (with stolen public funds), even in countries they can't remember the last time they visited.

Can you tell us more about these companies Peter obi managed?

And what he actually did in those companies?

Did he actually increase their bottom line? What was his legacy?

People are comparing Peter obi to bill Gates, so can we assume Peter obi built a billion dollar company from nothing?

Next International Nigeria limited has no Internet website. First hit is a clothing store.

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

If you're searching at least do so the right way, make I help you - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/03199858

Peter Obi's business Next International (UK) Limited was first incorporated in the UK in 1996, man was just 35 years old then, and had been doing business since university, so that's over 15 years of business experience...that's why he's as good and as successful in business.

Where was Bola Tinubu before 35, who was Tinubu before politics? *Crickets*

And comparing Peter Obi to Bill Gates does not mean he has to have achieved same as Bill Gates.

Exactly, no one can say exactly why the man truly moved, the best we can do is speculate. He himself has come out to say he wasn't comfortable with how the primaries were being conducted and that was his reason for leaving especially since he planned to contest still. Like he said, he's not desperate to be president, but desperate to see Nigeria work, Nigeria can't work when one of the frontline candidates is a sick old man in active cognitive decline.

This isn't different from what I said sha...his family has a business incorporated in the UK, they can't be conducting their business that's at least 25 years old from hotels, it would stop making economic sense then, and that was the idea behind his thinking, the economics of owning a property in a country you barely live in or have business in.

He's not comfortable with the way primaries were being conducted, but has previously contested as Atikus VP

He's not desperate to be president but contested two primaries in two different parties in the space of around 2 months, after previously making a run for VP on the Atiku ticket.

The only logical explanation for this behaviour is that Peter Obi is an altruistic saint from heaven, who was physically blind during the last elections, and only received healing a few months ago.

Peter Obi choosing to contest in LP does not mean he wouldn't have preferred to have been PDPs candidate. Of course, the PDP is the bigger party, the party with established structures and the party that would have given him the easiest path to victory in the general elections.

He didn't believe in himself two days to the elections, he believed in himself enough before then, and backed that belief with #40 million.
