Most likely they will deny it but we have seen many handle openly threatening Tinubu from coming to SE while Labor and Obi supporters openly canvas and campaign in Lagos and every part of the SW and Nigeria

It's one of the things Nnamani was addressing in his tweets. Maybe they will say Nnamani is fake and not a bona-fide

We are the only country in the world cheesy

These are all a whole bunch of propagandists.

Meanwhile while these people want us to suddenly become understanding of the reasons why Buhari has failed, let us ask them whether they were understanding towards Jonathan and his failures!

I was with this people here criticizing Jonathan from one point to another, we didn't hear let us understand the problem oh or let us all get economic diplomas to understand why dollars was rising from 150 to 250 but now that this administration has failed in all aspects of life, we should suddenly start "understanding". We shouldn't clamor for the change that all of us were clamoring for together just 8 years ago.

No be juju be that?
Meanwhile let's not forget the vile things thrown towards Jonathan.

It's not even about the denials and counterdenails sef

It's about this self inflicted hatred that is shared amongst the people. We have seen it here even from Obidients and BATS

Every tribe is represented in every region, no matter how small.

When an Igbo man in the East can't find Tinubu to transfer his aggression, he will look for the nearest Yoruba or Hausa man. The same goes for a Northerner or Westerner.

These campaigns of hatred must definitely turn around to bite us.

My own prayer is that I and anybody related to me should not be found wherever it happens

If you look how many times has anyone said Obi should not come to Lagos to campaign actually Obi frequents Lagos and he is welcome everytime. Same with Atiku but some people are daring Tinubu to come and campaign in their region

When people now respond with the same energy that's when you remember and start shouting that they hate you once again Nnamani has a reason why he posted this

Damola, I have to tell you this, that you are one of the people I admire the most here.
You are one of the few individuals who has consistently risen above religious sentiments and even tribal sentiments and that is indeed a very rare virtue to see. You have been very consistent in your ideals of a fair world.

You are a yoruba moslem yet When Deborah's unfortunate issue occurred, unlike other moslems here who showed sympathy to the barbarism and the murderers by virtue of religious sentiments, you stood tall in your convictions that the act was totally unjustified and you were condemned by your fellow moslems.

Now we have an election on our hands, an election so critical to our nation's future and while many yorubas MOST ESPECIALLY the Yoruba moslems have all given into their basic primordial sentiments by virtue of a candidates tribe and religion, once again you have stood tall and proven that those qualities are secondary to the qualities needed of a Nigerian leader in today's day and time.
You are to be highly commended. It personally pains me that both of us don't usually see to eye to eye because of my decision to come down very hard on people I perceive to be enemies of our country but I can assure you that I have a deep personal admiration for you and I wish I knew someone like you even offline.

You haven't even declared support for Peter Obi who I consider the best of the rest or a symbol of revolution for us but the fact that you have outrightly rejected Tinubu and not fallen for their propaganda antics or given into ethno-religious sentiment is proof enough of your widened enlightenment. I have gone through your past posts and seen a very consistent pattern of you calling out "your own" and bringing them to order. If more people were like you, this country would be much better.

As-salamu alaykum my brother.

If you’re truly trying to get to know Peter Obi, I’ll make a case in good faith and without abrasion. Here are my thoughts on Peter Obi:

1) Under his leadership, Anambra state was rated by the Debt Management Office (DMO) as the least indebted state. The Senate also adjudged that Anambra state (under Obi’s leadership) was the most financially stable state

2) He left excess funds in the state coffers. All these were funds saved from excesses and generated from IGR. His successor mentioned in an interview that the funds Peter Obi saved up for the state of Anambra is what he used to build an airport in the state. This is something that would be useful to Nigeria. We have so much debt, the CBN keeps printing money for Buhari and there are no real economic policies. There’s also so much waste and duplication. We could do with a president that makes reasonable cuts, re-negotiates our debt and focuses on fund-generating ventures.

3) Obi’s administration won the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation prize of a million dollars for best-performing state on immunization in the southeast. They used the funds to expand healthcare by building 10 maternal and childcare centers in rural areas in Anambra

4) He’s very frugal and accountable with public funds. His handover notes when he completed his governorship term included all the cheques that he had left to ensure teachers, pensioners and contractors were paid.

4) His administration as state governor made a mark in education in Anambra. He focused on making sure teachers felt heard, paid salaries in time and was very involved. The result? Anambra state under his administration recorded the highest level of academic performance. His ideology is that youths are central to the economy and if ignored, we’ll face the consequences in years to come. At this time of recurring ASUU strike, that ideology is much needed.

5) He brings a refreshing private sector mindset to critical sectors of the economy. He’s been very deliberate about understudying African countries such as Morocco with better energy access rates and reliable power. He’s gone to see what they’re doing differently, what worked and what didn’t. He’s also spoken with stakeholders in Nigeria’s power sector to get a good grasp of the problem on ground. This aligns with my personal approach because our problems are not unique. We can leverage existing and proven solutions instead of reinventing the wheel.
6) He’s someone who despite being rich is not removed from the realities of the average Nigerian. Even as a governor, he would participate in on-the-ground work to understand the pains of the people. We need a president that understands but more than that, has the zeal to problem solve.

7) It is tempting as someone in power to surround yourself with people who agree with you all the time, Peter Obi wants people who question boldly and challenge the status-quo. He’s empathetic, has a good drive, has integrity and surrounds himself with competent people.

cool He brings his private sector excellence as a successful banking professional to governance. He once said Nigeria needs to move away from her status as a consumption-based country to a production country. He said if elected, his administration would focus on funding critical sectors such as agriculture and prioritize productive labour so we can grow wealth and stabilize the economy.

He’s not perfect but he’s a man of integrity and substance. Try listening to his interviews. I only wrote things I’m aware of but since I only became his supporter 4 months ago, I’m sure there are still good traits about him that I don’t know.

Then his interview on channels TV was better, I think he is very qualified for the job he has been given as campaign spokesperson cheesy

ON ASUU issues, I don't know if what Festus said during the program is true, but if it is, ASUU are overdoing cheesy

Do you think Presidential debate will take place this election? Keeping in mind that the last two elections had the main candidates not showing up.
I know Obi will be there, I don't know about others.
Larride do you think Tinubu will show up to debate?
I honestly think he should, he can kill many birds with one stone, especially with questions around his health and mental capacity.

Vice presidential debate is a given, I enjoyed the last one between Obi and Osinbajo, I thought Osinbajo did better.

Buhari did not attend and he won
Jonathan did not attend and he won
OBJ did not attend and he won

I am not sure if YarAdua attended sef
Demola Adeleke did not attend the last debate in Osun and he won

Are you suggesting that debates are unnecessary? cheesy
The big boys should join the debate this year, not the fringe players engaging themselves in idealist chatters seeing that they wouldn't win the election.

Finally, you do not think that the debate can go in Tinubu's favor? Like he goes there schools everyone, prove that he is still game, putting to rest questions about his mental and physical health, that kind of win win scenario cheesy

Like Atiku said, most of the voters are not watching TV or checking their phones. It's either you want to engage the majority or impress the minority

If it was just Lagos State where more engagement is possible through TV then I see the point in him going

Most of those who watch the debates don't even understand what they are watching beyond the soundbites. Didn't you see people mocking the idea of printing more Naira to combat the pandemic like was done in most economies? Or people mocking Agbado and Cassava that they eat daily
