I read on a different Nairaland Thread that someone could not travel via KLM due to a transit visa issue. The case was treated as a no-show and I don't know if they were refunded.

The passport has been printed but during capturing everything was intact only for the passport to come out and the place where signature should be is showing unable to sign. Clearly the capturing officer did imcompetent job. Now I'm not sure how valid a passport without signature is as a legal identifying document.

2 years is a waste of time especially in a course that does not require it. Those schools are just trying to make more money for themselves and UK government through IHS.

That extra 1 year could be use to work full time through skilled work visa/health care visa/ postgraduate visa enabling you to get money and experience as fast as you can with no limits and building ILR status.

Also often most people do not get internship and the school will curtail your visa to one year with no refund. Companies will underpay you doing internship and you will be serving as errand boy. This is embarrassing.

Also as a fresh MSc and BSc graduate with no experience, you can also apply for Internship positions. In fact, this is how oil and gas and multinational companies recruit nowadays. It is not required to be a student. So don't be scammed.

Only Nursing, Dietetics or any other health related course require 2 years.

Read earlier where someone said they debited him at an initial rate the first day and was debited an additional amount the following day. (That's the only person who I know to have experienced such so far so I'm not sure why)

I want to collect my TELEX first to be sure that's the final amount. I really hope it is.


If you have applied and it has been approved; awaiting disbursement or debit, just check the OANDA rate and add N35 extra to it and multiply across how much you want to pay. Also, disturb their customer care (calls & social media) often because your application might require some processing issues and they'll forget to update it on the workflow chart on the TRMS website.

I have been trying to attach the screenshot, seems i don't know how to do that yet. The requirement says one must submit a recognition of prior learning (RPL) and an evidence that they have worked a minimum of 500 hours in a health or social care setting.

Firstbank. Debited me after 31 days. They returned my application back to the branch because of insufficient funds but did not update it in the workflow on TRMS. I had to keep disturbing the branch FX officer with calls. It was him who checked and told me they returned it from head office.

I topped it up with the rate he told me and even added a little extra. He treated the file according to him and sent it back to them.

I was debited the following day (yesterday) at 528.7

I heard Unity bank and Ecobank are quite fast. Maybe you should visit the branch. If you sit at home after applying for Form A at this time where there's FX shortage, maybe you don't need the FX urgently.

I'm processing from both Unity and First bank. I have been to the branch, called the customer service line and they told me they(Unitybank) didn't get FX allocation last week( I don't how true it is).
