Hi Folks.
Good morning please I need your urgent advise.

I applied for study permit from inside canada it has been approved however
My husband is in Nigeria and I applied for his Visit visa on the new portal since April not a single word from IRCC.
Now I dont know what to do
Based on my study permit that has just been approved can I apply for work permit for him on the old portal creating a new profile or I do it on my own profile.

His visiting visa or work permit will take a long time. I will advice you check the processing periods for each application. None is fast on the old or new portal
I applied for an Open spousal work permit for someone in October 2021 and she go approved in July, 2022.

Wow. Don't worry, I'm sure it'd get updated in due time. Probably all will get updated with PPR once and for all. Keep the hopes up!
Amen! Thank you so much. Wish you Goodluck.

If your plan is for him to come and stay with you, apply for a work permit or you can wait till the visiting visa is approved (IF IT WILL BE APPROVED) then when he comes to canada, he can apply for the work permit.

Does the name of the agent start with a 'D"? She already created an email for me intialky, which she gave me access to, but the new one, she's claiming that the problem probably came from VFS and I can't view the dashboard myself.

No. Her name doesn’t start with D

Hello Chief,
In fact, he has sent it.
Please how best can I prove source of income and how I was able to raise such amount without raising concerns

I anticipate your response
Thanks

Anon123:

Good day..
I have gone through your query.

I would have recommended you make use of the option of your friend funding the account but I will also recommend he seends the full amount he wishes to release to you at once instead of regular lump sum amounts in the account. By doing this, you will not be printing the bank statement to show when the money was paid to you but after you have received it.

This is because you are expected to show an account that is void of lump sums or lump sums with a explanation as to the source of the received amount along with an evidence which comes in the form of invoices or contracts or gift deeds.

Hi Sunkanmi562, thanks brother I would prefer to do a graduate certificate program in Bim and integrated practice also can i apply for my visa from here in the uk.

Any of the stated options is fine. You will only have to backup your decision with a cogent cause. Meanwhile, your UK education favours your travel history. Hence, you are not at disadvantage.

Can't wait to eventually celebrate with you!

Is it possible to defer after getting ppr?

If yes, what's the effect on the visa? Hope ircc won't have a problem with that?

Hi ReliableGod,

I addressed a similar question earlier. I hope my previous response helps.

Hi Adeyinkaadetunj,

If I should start listing the tertiary institutions that accept NECO, the mod might be forced to create a new thread for me. We have more universities that accept NECO results in Canada than those that might reject it.

Carry on with your application, and if you are doubtful, write the Admission Office of your school of interest for verification sake.

I will come back with my landing gist when I am fully-settled.

May God grant PPRs to everyone expecting it in Jesus name... #AMEN

Your source of income can be th CAC of your business and your employment letter with payslips.

I am not saying you shouldn't have lump sums but it has to be explained. You can use a sales receipt to explain a lump sum as a business owner.

If you defer aftet getting a PPR, you must have the new admission letter before you travel because the immigration officer might ask for your admission letter. You will also need to update ircc of the updated admission letter.

It has notl effect on your visa but its important you present the updated admission letter because it is when you get to the port of entry you will be issued a study permit and work permit

Your neco result isn't a big deal even though you will require to include a neco scratch card when applying for the admission.

You need to show you have work experience in the chosen course if you want to stand a chance to gain admission. Therefore your cv plays a bigger role not your neco result.

Please who knows the fastest VAC where I can send my passport for the Visa.

Also, can anyone advise me on how to go about it? Do I just send my passport and documents to the VAC or do I need to submit any application online?

Travelled with KLM in June to Canada . No covid test was required for fully vaccinated passengers. Just ensure you download your arrivecan app and update it with all required details 72hrs before your flight
