can you please help me clarify this issue with POF. "You must have this money for at least 28 consecutive days. The end date of the 28th day period must be within 31 days of the date you apply for you visa". Kindly explain with your experience what this statement mean. Were you interviewed at the tlc? Did they check the originals of your credentials? Did you use the same statement you used for CAS or you printed another one?

Always check around 12am. The farthest date possible will be open. Then from there you can check randomly around 7pm and 10pm to amend to an earlier date.

Also, they probably won't allow you walk in without a date. That's what I think sha.

I did biometrics on the 14th of July with my dependents, I sent a paid mail three weeks after, decision already made but I’m yet to get my passport and my dependents.

I was told to contact them again if I don’t get our passports before 12th of August. What do I do please?

they will charge you 42k... he did mine first, he moved it from 25th August to 17th, then move it to Saturday 13th. Saturdays are always easier for them. but I wanted something closer.

I will suggest you spare 2 days for walk-in. if you are in Abuja. Go to TLS office early in the morning, write your name for walk in.

the challenges are, you may not have it that day but you will have it the following day if you are patient.

1. if you like you may use the same POF for CAS for your visa or update it if you wish. after I sent POF to my school on 8 July, on the 20th they requested for updated one. the updated one is what I used at TLS on 10th of August.

2. TLS is currently not conducting interviews but be prepared incase.

3. they are not checking your document. just your passport and coloured copy, biometric collection, the checklist and printout of payment confirmation.

If you haven't booked your ticket yet, I strongly suggest you fly with Qatar or any other airline that doesn't require a transit visa.

I read on a different Nairaland Thread that someone could not travel via KLM due to a transit visa issue. The case was treated as a no-show and I don't know if they were refunded.

Not trying to scare you; just stating the obvious risk.
