Kayceeeee: It's depends on your Local government inspector and your PPA. Just try to reason with your LI and your coordinator. On the other hand, you don't need that certificate, NYSC certificate does apply to UK market. Try all you best to blend with the current job in-demand in UK and find your ways to ILR. Please reason like someone who is ready to stay in UK. Good luck 1 Like |

Please I need clarification on the bolded. For instance, If you have a property where you collect rent and have savings from it but the rent inflow reflects at the same period cos rent is paid annually in Nigeria. This is also close to the application time. Eg Rent paid in July and application is in August. What's the best way to explain and prove it in your application? Anyone can respond please. Just state the inflow in Ur cover letter and reference it as one of the rental payments u receive from Ur property. If u have a receipt u issue to the tenant, better. Just make sure the name on the receipt matches the name on the inflow line (description, if any) on the statement and it should be issued around the same date as the inflow shown on the statement. Hello everyone. Been trying to get a closer date for BIOMETRICS at Tls IKEJA to no avail. The dates don't show time availability, what do I do? Is walk-in still available or do I go there and pay for Flexi since I already have a date (but too far)? |

PipSurgeon:please help me too. I applied for a tourist visa before to France during January this year. But now I applied through studies. Filling out the form I did not see a place where they asked if I had applied for a visa before. On getting to VFS I told the guy about it. But he said i don't have to submitted the refusal letter or talk about it as that was for a different Visa not student visa. Is this right |

ojichimex1: I won’t advice you sell your crypto and push the funds into your account now that your appointment is really close. You would have done this months to your application. It will raise suspicion and may dent your chances. |

kino47: If you haven’t gone for biometrics yet, you can write in your cover letter to explain the mistake made while filling the form and show price of stamp in and out of the said visit. I know someone who had submitted her application but was booked for assisted service for biometrics. Her hotel canceled her booking after she had submitted but i advice her to write a cover letter explaining this and to submit the new hotel booking made. I don’t know if that helped but she was given the visa |

JennyBay:you never what can happen in the future . Talk to your PPA and LI that you have to travel for something and won't be available for passing out. You might have to pay them to have your certificate sent to someone you trust in Nigeria and the person can then send it to your address. 2 Likes |

I am very pleased with many successful travel and visa process stories here. I will also contribute mine too as I embark on this journey. I have lived in Europe from 2005 till 2009( I was deported anyway). I have been in Nigeria since 2010.I lost my previous passport in 2011 through a visa agent (he died and no info to recover the passport). I WANT TO FOLLOW THE DIY route. I just got a new passport I want to Travel to Either Canada, Australia, UK or USA by December this year. I have a hotel (opened in January) which I plan to register at CAC and also open a corperate bank account with it. I have cash inflow of 300 to 400k monthly. I can raise a bank cash balance of 5 - 6million. What are my chances of getting a tourist visa to any of the countries above and the requirements. I am 42years, married with three children. I am an engr(B. Eng) with 2.1. I have personal properties on my name e.g lands, house(the hotel) 1 Like |
