Looking at the match again, I have come to the realization that my major problem with the team is not the goals we concede or our defense. Those are silly errors that will go away. My major problem is our attack. I can't see the sync. We're not threatening enough, whether we're behind or not. It's just the same thing. That's the major issue right now.

We know at least the first 2 goals were individual errors. It may not happen again. But we've only scored 1 goal in 2 games, and that was even an own goal. The creativity is zero. All the movements and triangles they practiced in training all gone.

It is unfortunate. Iqbal and Savage understand the role of central midfielders so much more than McFred it is unreal. Then the gulf in technical ability is shocking. McTominay is definitely using quota system cos there is no way he is a ten Hag style midfielder. I wasn't even really excited with the academy performance in the 2nd half cos that 1st half midfield performance was still hurting me in the soul.

If we start McFred we will surely lose out on top 4. Those academy boys are however not ready for EPL level challenge so we need to add 1 or 2 midfielders as a matter of urgency. If not we will be back here in December with another interim manager as it is our usual tradition.

You have been on this board long enough. We've always had great preseason, but those of us who still remember our recent history know that that's all a scam these players do too well. ETH has a style he wants to play. These players can't fit in. Most of our favorites will need to go if we're being sincere. If at this point you still think we haven't changed coaches enough, then problem dey o

We can never really know what is going on completely with Man U. We can only pick up pieces from what they tell the media, and most times the media does not get the whole truth. I believe there is a clause in their agreement that makes them do this. I could be wrong.

As for me, I have given up watching Man U matches till further notice. Peace of mind is very important to me.

The first critical error was offering RR one nebulous consultancy role when he could have been made DoF. This then gave ETH the confidence to reject him out of hand which was the 2nd critical error.

This led to a situation (which i warned about) in which ETH was the only football mind in the room and could not get any sort of technical or tactical input from those who had been there before him (Fletcher and Murtough).

Now there are other issues on ground including the reluctance of the board to go beyond 120-150m in transfers this year which was the actual trigger for many of our transfer difficulties and not (as was pushed by propagandists) an insistence on FDJ being the first player to come in. But that is a story for another time.

Or when they said ONLY the coach is the problem and not the whole company?

Guess time settles most arguments.

The problem with most of these players is that they have a very low average when it comes to performance.

They play poorly (let’s say a rating of 3 or 4 out of 10) in like 8 matches out of 10 and then play fantastically in the remaining 2 games.

That’s the main problem. We have lots of players like this. I can’t say there’s one player that offers a performance of at least 5 or 6 every match game.

Bruno used to be like that but herd mentality has taken over.

The suffering is just starting. Expect more woes.

It’s better for a player to always offer a performance of 5.0 or 6.0 every game week than to offer the occasional 9 and 10 and then 2 or 3 in other matches.

When you play with useless players, if you are not careful their mentality and uselessness will affect you.

I was shocked when he agreed to extend his contract when he could have easily moved to a better club.
