I don't think you are judging the guy fairly maybe due to your over-expectation of him, but I feel Barca yesterday game was lost due to the tactical set up, there is no urgency and transition, even Dembele that everyone knows he easily leaves his marker was poor with dribbling and creating spaces. This is the first game of the season and comes with a lot of hassles that needs improvement and the guy is just trying to acclimatize to La liga since this is his first time playing in the league so you will give him the benefit of doubt.
