Finally got our international passport. Started the process 24th June in NIS, Yenagoa office. It came out August 7th. The person who helped us processed it waybilled to us in Asaba.

The challenge now is that the date of birth for my son isn't correct. Instead of August 7th, 2019, they erroneously typed August 1st 2019.

Please, what do you advise we do?

Since you have already made payment you have to settle for the available dates if not others will book it. The days are getting longer now for DIY appointment, I made payments May ending and captured early August.

Sorry about this. It can only be corrected at their HQtrs in Abuja.

It would have been better you did do it yourself and took your time to fill it right than gave it to your plug who messed it up and still got paid.

You will spend more to correct it than you earlier spent.

Or you do an affidavit and adopt the new DOB for him.

I want insights like which of them can one get closer capturing dates; the one that's DIY friendly; and one that would not take too long for production?

I will really appreciate any response.

PS: I plan to do DIY, and might fast-track it if need be during capturing.

This NIN verification part, was it while you where waiting for capturing or after you did capturing? If before capturing, how long after payment before that part was updated?
