That passing accuracy is poor for a “deep playing midfielder” He needs to do more. Hopefully, he will improve once the second half commence

The stats is not for you then. It is for those who hold hopes for the boy. So please jump and pass especially if you aren't seeing the game.

How does holding hope and holding hope high corelate? I hold hopes for every Nigerian talent, but holding it high for a particular player is a different thing. I have held it so high for Jibola, but nothing has come out of it, but I still hope he comes good.

Jibola's case is now looking like Yahaya's. These are two kids I had high hopes for but their shortcomings made it wane.

The kind of assist Nwakali laid out today can only be executed by just one player in the present Super Eagles midfield.

His name is Alex Iwobi.

Another capable of such is Uncapped Alhassan Yusuf.

The end.
can’t wait for alhassan the midfield sultan to be capped I swear

That kid with his playing style will be loved by a lot of super eagles fans

I rate onyedika ooo though more of an ndidi prototype. He will make a good cover for the leicester man in the super eagles

Ishaq is ok but still hv room for improvement

Unintelligent comment.

His passing accuracy is that way because his team are the ones on the backfoot. They are away from home and Nwakali is first or almost first to receive the ball from his defence applying his press resistant qualities and quick decision to link passes forward. Not all will connect.

This is the kind of comment you make when you are not watching a game. So shut up about what you don't know.

You keep saying one for the future as if he has impressed at all. Truth is he hasn't. So until he does... I don't know what future you are talking about. He isn't even better than Torunarigha as things stand now. Not better than Awaziem too.

charlesemeka85:
I never said he is the finished product yet. He is young, just 21 and with more playing time under his belt this season he will improve to be atleast an option from the bench for the super eagles

Ekong is even below average in my rating cheesy and going forward our best cb pair should be bassey and ajayi

Carry on being a nuisance deflecting attention from the lad's stats update then.

With nothing to contribute, you choose to roll out broken records. So stale.

for a 21 year old cb playing in laliga there is chances that he will become better in the future

The bassey we all rate today was once deemed not good enough for the super eagles in this same thread but today has become the number one mention when discussions related to our center backs/left backs are put up here

If you can still retain hope in nwakali after over 5 seasons in europe I see no reason you shouldn’t do same to a 21 year old who just had his first season of top flight football last season playing few games for laliga side elche

I wonder how you would react if someone borrowed a leaf from you to apply this particular take of yours to Nwakali's situation.

Nwakali and Ponferradina are running away with this one. 3-1 lead now. Cartagena have held more of the ball but Ponferradina's counter strategy most times led by Nwakali's dictation/conduction in the middle have enabled them hit Cartegena in 2 quickfire fashion.

His passing accuracy has also risen to 80% now in the second half.

So much for someone trying to jump in and sound smart when he's just chatting nonsense. Lol grin

Your analogy here is again rubbish.

The Nwakali matter has been dragged without end by you all even unnecessarily but this Donald Nwankwo lad is being talked up as if he is impressive when infact he isn't yet. I know because I watch all these guys.

So let me hear better word abeg.

no one hinted that nwankwo is good ooo but said he is one for the future which is under probability

If he play enough games for elche this season I won’t be surprised if he earns an invite to the super eagles

He is still 21 and for that reason can metamorphose into a beast of a cb in 2 or 3 seasons

Do you know how many games he played last season?

Also, has he switched to us?

Trust me, that lad haven't had one game that made me go WOW. Maybe someday he will but right now... He hasn't. So my advice... let the lad play more Coz from all I have seen so far... he is "just there" for now.

I repeat... I follow these lads more than you people here think. It's one of my sweet hobbies. cool

I see no reasoning you are giving so much reference to nwakali’s performance tonight.

Nerdy to be honest there is nothing nwakali will do in laliga 2 that will marvel me

The promise he showed as a younger player then is way above where he is exhibiting his talent currently and even if he makes it to laliga with the same team or another I won’t be wowed

His passing stats in the first half which you posted few minutes ago is just decent nothing more

Even the area that impressed he was his recovery and tackle stats because that’s the most deficient aspect of his game which am glad he is improving on
