Excel how? They are playing in their country and on their continent. So what do you expect?
So you expect them to buy your own players and leave theirs because?
The best way is to invest in your league and continent. Why should playing in another man's continent be the criteria?
TheGoodJoe:

I will make it easier for you.

Football is vastly developed in Europe and easier for their young bright talents to excel. Football in Africa is far behind, and it means more bright talents will fall off, compared to the Europeans.

So, the National teams should play a more active role in helping our developing bright talents grow and be easily spotted by quality European teams. It is better than leaving it to chance and fortune.

This will help us more in the long run.

Do you know how many games he played last season?

Also, has he switched to us?

Trust me, that lad haven't had one game that made me go WOW. Maybe someday he will but right now... He hasn't. So my advice... let the lad play more Coz from all I have seen so far... he is "just there" for now.

I repeat... I follow these lads more than you people here think. It's one of my sweet hobbies. cool

he hasn’t impressed me either but for a 21 year old cb in a laliga team who may switch to us in the future all I pray and hope is that he improves in the nearest future to be worthy of a call up to the national team

Like you said he needs to play more which I pray happens

Oga shut up and man up. You are still not contributing to the Nwakali game.

I am on 79mins seeing how good this lad balls and you are still here chatting nonsense.

The one who needs growing up is you. You and your womanic way of yapping unnecessarily after main points have been made. Rest boy!

Oya, take grin

I see no reasoning you are giving so much reference to nwakali’s performance tonight.

Nerdy to be honest there is nothing nwakali will do in laliga 2 that will marvel me

The promise he showed as a younger player then is way above where he is exhibiting his talent currently and even if he makes it to laliga with the same team or another I won’t be wowed

His passing stats in the first half which you posted few minutes ago is just decent nothing more

Even the area that impressed he was his recovery and tackle stats because that’s the most deficient aspect of his game which am glad he is improving on

And is all this talk supposed to stop me from updating the thread about a Nigerian player especially on a Nigerian players' thread?

A clue, NO. wink

A 21 yr old cb ooo that may become a beast of a cb in the future

At the same age almighty van dyke was still playing for Groningen in the Dutch league if I am not mistaken but he later moved to Celtic and Southampton where his good performance made Liverpool to splash big on him

Today he is currently rated as one of the best centre back of this generation

Relax.

I watch the boy and just giving my unbiased take on the lad. It wasn't last season I even began following him. It has been before that.

He may become Nigerian someday on his passport but for now he is Spanish. And that he is Spanish is not the reason for my take on the lad. My take is honest. The lad isn't close to being there yet. He needs more first team opportunities like he was getting today before he got himself sent off.
