NaijaRoyalty: Turn the craps he has put together and turn it into votes come 2023. He has said nothing. He only whined. He proffered no solution. The era of bamboozling people with rhetorics is over. The question we ask now is how exactly do you want to do it differently. 3 Likes |
Peter Obi, former Anambra state governor and Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) was a guest on News Central TV where he spoke on his plans for Nigeria if elected as president in the 2023 general elections. TEMIDAYO AKINSUYI who monitored the session for Daily Independent presents the excerpts: Do you realize that Peter Obi is the sole importer of ketchup in Nigeria for over 30 yrs, yet he want to turn naija to productive economy. Lamba When you were the Governor of Anambra, did u make the state the most productive in Nigeria? Is it today? We all know the diagnosis of Nigeria's illnesses, Peter Obi has never been able profer solution or footprints of what he would do differently.. just rhetorics & unsubstantiated figures here & there & some get carried away!.. Well, the good thing is, majority aren't gullible! 2 Likes

Very commendable comment. The way some people accuse constitution for their failure is annoying, good leadership is a key to right growth and development. 1 Like 1 Share |

Shayetet13:You are the idiot here, every civilized world build strong institution and not people alone. Institution outlast people. Nigeria doesn't want to build institution but come looking for leaders with "Messianic tendency" ,our brain has been damaged occasioned by religion into this a messiah thing ,every four four years only to be once again disappointed. How will sane human say 1999 military decree is not our problem and you believe if you are sane yourself? When did people that made up of Nigeria sit and write the military decree because for a document to be term a constitution, it must be peopled. Now ,to please Hausa Fulani slave masters, every southern presidential candidate will always pretend this Parasitic Unitary system of government Fraudgeria practice is not the problem. Tell me a country on planet Earth that practice unitary system of government where there are 3 major Ethnic nation (without clear majority), it is not possible because there will never be basis for development ,it will be implosion here and there. For a Unitary system to work anywhere, there must be dominant Ethnic nation who will Lord over the smaller ethnic groups. Just like putting German,French and English together then expect the country to be great. Many of you are retards anyway. 10 Likes 3 Shares |

That's dumb. So a constitution that's solely drafted by Professor Awwal Yadudu and imposed on Nigerians is not responsible for this Convoluted Federalism? So a constitution in which Islam and Sharia are mentioned more than 70 times without a mention of Christianity is not the problem? And that in a Secular State o! So a constitution that our foolish leaders, including Obi, agreed to work with, sight unseen in 1999 is not the problem? So it's because of Leadership that most Nigerians are agitating for state police, etc.? Na wa for this analysis o. 1 Like |

Those whom you have been voting what solutions have they proffered to the numerous economic crises we have been witnessing? Let the man give his own input since he's the only one that seem to understand the critical challenges of this nation, he mentioned power and production dependent economy as the key solutions to our economic crises and sensible people knew that. |

Lurdmax10:I agree with him on a number of things . But there are some I don’t . While we have the issue of a terrible leadership , the 1999 constitution is the main hurdle holding us back and empowering these clowns called leaders . You can’t do local policing , generate your own power , resource control as a state . The constitution is clear on that . Lastly his statement about fuel subsidy , I’m surprised he didn’t talk about building refineries . That is the ONLY solution to subsidy scam . Saying that you need to know why we are paying subsidy , MR Obi everyone knows why we are paying subsidy . He is improving sha with his points . Oya over to you fact checkers oh . I hope these fact checkers will keep this energy when Tinubu and Atiku start talking 1 Like |

Papacypaul: If you are not a fool, you would know by now that for all countries of the world that had great institution, it took great leadership to engineer it? How do you achieve change of the constitution with the leaders who exploits it's defects for their own loot. Right now, what is the priority? Good leadership. No one is saying 1999 constitution is not defective, but bad leadership will not contemplate changing it. This is what you need to understand 2 Likes 1 Share |

Infact i support you, it's better we trust the other old politicians who have failed us. They have earned our trust. Don't you think? |
