Cashmadam: Getting a ticket if you are travelling this August is not cheap and this is for all airlines. You can adjust your dates to 2nd week in September for a seemingly fair rate. For E.g this august, to get a ticket for a family of 4 (husband, wife and 2 kids below 12) is from 3,800,000 to 4,200,000 and this isn't a direct flight. The likes of virgin and BA are off the roof. |

Wakanow is a scam! They booked Qatar airways for me and my family on the 7th of August, after some days I got a mail from Qatar that Dear customer you ticket has been changed .we were given option of cancellation if we are not fine with it. I told wakanow to let me know what changed ,it was just the airport and departure time so I gave the go ahead to effect it . The sent my kids tickets three kids for my consent ,I checked and ask them to go ahead hoping that my wife's and my ticket will drop soon . I asked for the two remaining ticket, they kept telling me to hold on until after 2 days that they told me that the change only affected my kids and not ours .I was like how could I have agreed that my kids fly a different flight from ours. They claimed I gave the go ahead. Now they asking me to pay 1.2m to effect the change to be in the same flight with my kids.please advice |

Please has Anyone been in this situation b4 and can advise... There was an error on my decision letter, I requested for a correction, but apparently the same error had already been made on my brp, home office apologized and a new one was issued and they said the old one is now invalid (they asked I destroy it if I have it and I shouldn't make any travel plans till I have the new brp with me). So thing is, I'm not yet in the UK, I only noticed the error from my decision letter, haven't collected any brp yet. My worry is does this also affect the validity of the 90 days entry vignette on my passport as I'm yet to arrive the UK and haven't used it yet? The person who replied my email couldn't really give a deifinte answer when I emailed ukvi, probably she didn't follow the email thread to understand the situation. I don't want to have issues at the airport... Here at departure or in the UK on arrival. Just a little worried. |

XYZJAZZY: Read through this thread to learn about people whose applications were successful and the kinds of documentation they submitted with their applications. Concerning the minimum account statement required. Make sure you have a healthy account balance that is more than enough to cover your trip expenses. For instance, if your vacation cost is 800k, I would suggest that any amount in your account over 2 million is good. |

Good day House, I applied for an airport transit visa (transiting country, Netherlands) at the VFS. My booking appointment for biometric at the VFS is August 29th. How long will it take to be issued the transit visa. Thanks |

truffle: That’s fine too. Your sponsor will provide the financial and accommodation evidence. It would also be beneficial to have a WhatsApp or email conversation transcript between you and your sponsor. |

Ashirioluwa: The actual amount to pay for the type of visa will be determined when you are about to pay, the visa feel keep fluctuating by some few dollars until the payment time. 2 Likes |

Good evening house, Kindly advise on what could be done if TLS fails to send application confirmation email after payment has been made but goes ahead to send the 72 hours reminder mail before biometrics. They equally didn’t send a payment confirmation mail for additional services paid for |

rowon: Defintely a scam! Now, it appears you might need to pay. Tickets become more expensive as your travel date approaches so please act fast. You need to go to their office and ask some questions. This doesn't sound right... Next times, please buy your ticket directly from the airline or use other credible agents like ajala.ng. I've used them for over 7 years and they have been very reliable. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Please keep us informed on your progress. |

MusingsOfALady: GTBank dollar card isn’t working atm, it used to, I’ll recommend trying another bank’s dollar card, or getting someone you trust abroad who can help you. That was how I helped a friend last week coming to the UK. 1 Like |

Good evening everyone. Please kindly advice. I am applying for a UK standard visitor’s visa to attend an alumni convention and my alma mater where I’m also currently a staff has agreed to sponsor me. My questions are; Will the Support letter from the University be sufficient for my proof of sponsorship? Also, is there any chance I’ll get a faster decision on my application if I pay for the priority visa application? I’m afraid I may not have enough time following the current delays reported here. |
