Then why are you using it, since he has been deployed as a holding midfielder in both of his appearances.

Why not use data from last season, where he was deployed as a winger to prove your point?

How can you be shooting yourself in the foot like this, my good man?

You as an expert should know that heatmap doesn't show attacking or defensive ability, just workrate and versatility.

This is Rodri's heatmap. From your deduction, he is an attacking maestro.

Let's stick to context you said Iwobi's propensity to join the attack is very low.
A player's heat map bears every indication to the player's role during attacking phases . So you mean to say that a player's heat map showing how well the player frequents places higher up the pitch has no indication on the player's role during forays of attack.

How do you even define an attacking phase?

Before i delve deeper into heat map interpretations, I will like to know the markers that informed your stance that Iwobi's propensity to join attacks is very low.

19 y/o Anglo-Nigerian, Kelvin Ehibhationham on the bench for Reading in the Championship vs Blackburn.

31mins played. Reading up 1-0.

No Ovie Ejaria as he is currently injured (Hamstring I think).
I think Ejaria get injured a lot

Vawulence everywhere !!!

Supernerdy actually has a way of making people wanna dislike a player when he is hyping them whenever people don't seem to agree to him.

I don't know if he does it purposely for any reason ,or he does it without him knowing what he does. There was a time he led the charge with safarigirl, Chriskel, Kelly whatever on supporting iheanacho the season he wasn't playing well due to few opportunities to play or while Komekn and a few thought he lazy and lacked any true potential for EPL in comparison to other British Nigerian descent players like Solanke, Tammy etc. There was interesting comparison that freaked many out back then but it was an interesting episode here.

Today it's Nwakili's matter and like the previous episodes like Osimhen vs Haaland vs Tammy, They keep the pages interesting and shouldn't be taken seriously. After all everyone is giving an opinion and that's just it.
The arguments on players end up being about us than the players because these players don't even know that some people are here arguing about them. So no one should take this things personally to the extent of getting angry or touchy when a player is criticized. In fact I've noticed that when one of us puts a protective hedge around any player, some others will attack that player, not necessarily because he hates the player but just so he riles up the player's fan.

Manchester United should use players from their academy and forget about the stars they have.
They should concentrate on team work and tactics. The kind of formation they want to use and how the players fit into the formation
players like iqbal, elanga will improve with time. The set of paul scholes and the like were academy players.
If they should buy players they should target players under 25 who want to work and are proud to be manu players.
All these stars will lead them to disaster with their lack of commitment.
Academy players is the way forward and they should instill discipline and team work on them

TheSuperNerd broke it down for you, brother. Heatmap can be obscured by how possessive a team is.

Regarding Iwobi, eye test shows he isn't eager to join the attack but prefers effecting the game from deep. Even when he is player higher up the pitch.

That's eye test, sir, but I'll back it 100% with numbers.

When they dont have an average Joe player to hype to the high heavens , or comparing their overage cheats with their ancestors like Haaland and Mahrez, or believing the are the best team in Africa but keep getting tossed around by minor teams , they end up fighting amongst themselves. An enclave of drunken masters and clowns

They where more focused on Barca transfer than giving players from their academy chances ,Garry Neville and all their journalist attacked Barca all transfer window because FDJ rejected their club

They forgot Barcelona used the most academy players last season till they figure out their way to make some little signings

They should give Iqbal chance ,elanga doesn’t look like who is good enough

Even Iqbal and co should be eased in sef just the way Greenwood was. Elanga was good last season, before he began to start games repeatedly. They should still go for talented and experienced players.

Truth be told, the impassioned arguments and back and forths are what make this thread interesting. Conflict is part and parcel of human interaction. This thread should be allowed to function without any external influence.

Sometimes in life, the vawulence must simply run its course.

NFFC News: DENNIS REVEALS CHILDHOOD HERO
New arrival Emmanuel Dennis has revealed that Brazil legend Ronaldinho was his footballing idol growing up.

Dennis joined The Reds from Watford last week, arriving at The City Ground from Vicarage Road on the back of scoring 10 goals in 33 Premier League starts last season.

The exciting forward vows to entertain Forest fans with his pace and skill, taking inspiration from his childhood hero Ronaldinho.

“My idol growing up was Ronaldinho," the 24-year-old said. "He’s the reason I’m a footballer today.

“I just love everything about that guy and his talent with a football inspires me a lot. When I play, I just like to entertain people and have fun.

“I really like to nutmeg people. I had the most nutmegs in Europe last season which was crazy.

“I just love to have fun on the pitch, but I also want to score goals and add assists.

“I don’t really set targets, I just like to go and play and express myself.”

Just to quickly add.

I am shocked what Erik Ten Hag is doing. He is literally throwing his philosophy away to shoe-horn some players into the squad.

I expected the likes of Garner, Savage, Iqbal, Hannibal, Malacia, Van De Beek and co. to break into the team due to his playing style. The junior teams of Manchester United especially the U23 team play a similar brand of football to Ten Hag. So easing them would have been ideal.

Van De Beek knows his system thoroughly. How he does not start beats me. His philosophy and playing style should be king, which means the player that knows it inside out will be ahead. However, Van De Beek is yet to stat.

Iqbal was briliant in the pre-season and he becomes non-existent.

I hope Ten Hag mans up and make the right choices. If not, he might see the league run past him.
