We are in a season of harvest of agricultural products. The storage of egusi started in July and will soon end in August.

Another harvest of agro product is Onions, by ending of Aug/Sep, Onions will plenty in the market "yafun fun", the prices will be coming down drastically and onions storage will start for those who know how to preserve them.

How do preserve the onions?

1. It’s Best to Store the Onions in a Cool, Dry and Well-Ventilated Room.

2. It’s also important to ensure proper ventilation to prevent moulding
and rotting.

3. Spread it very well on the ground and be turning it once in two weeks gradually. Don't allow water or rain to touch it.

4. Onions storage is not meant for everybody because you must have the buyer on the ground before investing in onions.

1. January to July is called the IRRIGATION period when we have big seeds of onions in the market. 80% of onions in the irrigation period is a big seeds. This is the period when most of the northern states are harvesting their onions.

2. July to December is called raining season period where most of the onions are tiny, smaller,d medium size seeds of onions. 80% of the onions in the market during rainy periods are tiny and smallest onions.
