Good day house , Please what should someone that lost his passport after PPR do? IRCC have been informed of the incident with all supporting documents that lead to the passport been stolen via the webform. There’s no response yet. The 30 days given to submit passport will lapse next week and it also seems getting a lost passport replaced is an inundated task. It might take like 3 months to get a new passport. Will this have any effect on one’s application ? Will the application be reopened ? Please help a brother out… |

aurorae1: Yeah, that's right. Seems like the increment of 250 ITAs is the standard now, so next draw is gonna be 2500 ITAs, only if they could pump this ITA out. Fingers crossed sha 1 Like |

Afolavid: True this. The internal memo leaked at the beginning of the year alluded to that. If the number of ITAs can climb to 3500 as per pre-pandemic levels, that'd be great... the main issue is the addition of new profiles above 500, most seem to be clumped at the 500-520 point, I wonder how they'll clear these, they'll probably use the tie breaking rule. I wish we can see the exact distribution of scores in the 500-600 range. 2 Likes |

Please i have a question. I applied for a tourist visa to canada from germany (i currently live here), and there, i put that i am a software engineer (one of my many hustles) I also have an express entry profile for NOC 0711 (construction managers) I have experience in this field before i left nigeria, and i am still actively involved even from abroad because it is a family company. Will my declaration of software engineer as occupation in my tourist visa application affect my express entry application for NOC 0711 (construction project manager) ? What is the way forward? I already got an invitation to apply for NoC 0711 under SINP, and i plan to claim the years of experience to also include my remote working as construction project manager. |

Good morning house, I have been following this thread since 2020 in hopes of one day entering the pool for EE. My husband and I finally summoned to courage to write IELTS last month after verifying our credentials with WES 1 year ago. We have also been able to put money together for our POF. My husband (the primary applicant) is all set to enter the pool but there is an issue. My passport is expiring in December. Please can we still go ahead to enter the pool even though my passport is expiring in 5 months? If we do this, what is the implication? Or should we wait till I have my new passport before entering the pool? Please help, I am confused now because I feel like I am the one delaying us. |

Please quick question....does anyone know people that have done partial family first landing....i.e to not go completely as a family on first landing trip we plan to land as a family of 4 and not 5 and leave the baby behind because it is our first time to canada and the logistics of managing a baby...feeding and all will be stressful. Has anyone heard of such partial landing and does it cause issues at the point if entry |

stacey1994: Does the baby have COPR already? If yes, then you can land without the baby but you have to come back to Canada before the baby’s COPR expires. And that might not be possible if you don’t get PR cards/PR travel documents on time. |

leave baby for who? i assume the mother is landing so why leave baby behind? I think baby should go in my opinion. Find a telegram/whatsapp group for your proposed province, reach out/explain your situation and people will assist where they can to make your landing/settling in easier . stacey1994: 1 Like |

Baby will be well taken care of, don't worry about that ....mother has a very strong family support and frequently travels for work so it is nothing new. The question here is if the immigration officers at Canada will raise any eyebrows...which someone has replied that they won't Dimple10: |

Hi my Future Canadian Family, I have been seeing people provide advise on the list of essential items to take to Canada but I have not seen any mention of which shipping company to use. Please which shipping company is best for shipping items to Canada? Is shipping cheaper than paying for extra luggage? Your suggestion will be very helpful. 1 Like |

MaameU:lol..boss do you want to go to Canada with your car, furnitures and home appliances Hahaha. Anyways if I were you,I will just manage the 23kg(×2) the airline will give you or pay for extra 23kg.This is better, than going through the stress of shipping things to Abroad ...Shipping things from Abroad to your country is more easier than shipping from your country to Abroad..with your kg,you can concentrate more on food items that can take you up to 6 months or more.(non perishable items that you can preserve easily) forget about Rice, salt, groundnut oil or things you can buy from the supermarkets Abroad.you can take few of your clothes, but more of Winter wears... 3 Likes 1 Share |
