Fred and Casemiro are not fighting for the same starting position. If Fred can start along side Casemiro for the national team what makes you think he can't at United? The sample size is already there staring at your face.

We are saying the same thing. Getting Casemiro doesn't remove Fred or Mctominay from the starting eleven unless we bring in another midfielder. That is what I am making known to the other moniker.

But how can anyone watch that match and not realize how that'd be a huge disaster.

Ball winners are vital. Never said it's the only reason. They have all of these things but the ball winners are very important in that system. Pep is probably the best at limiting such situations and he plays with Rodri/Fernadinho. Probably still regrets not starting one of those two in the UCL final against Chelsea.
Fernadinho left and he brought in Philips. Let's forget theories and talk reality.
