Difference is he is selling a player who just had a stellar year in UCL, playing at top of his game. And they certainly didn't even need to sell.

So Perez has two bargaining upper hand.

On the other hand, our players are not playing their best games. We haven't won UCL in 7 years and we're in financial trouble, with a urgent need to sell to balance our books.

So we loose these two bargaining upper hand.

It is not always about Perez being a business guru. He has everything going for him most times. He does not need to sell Casemiro to ManUtd. Casemiro is happy at Real Madrid.

Honestly he's been doing some pretty good deals over the years, especially generating good cash from the sale of their Castilla gems probably after loaning them out, Why I'm giving him thumbs up is that he could have refused to sanction the deal and let him stay while Tchouameni still battles him for game time but the man no send your emotion just like with the case of Ronaldo and varane

When they bought Tchuameni for 100m, I new someone will leave but I never thought it'll be Casemiro because he's s real tank and just 30!

Madrid will be Madrid and are set for another decade with; Camavinga, Tchuameni, Valverde, Ceballos(not that good), Modric and Kross. They'll still be very strong because they have a system that works!!!
