You are correct. I forgot that this is a temporary residence application. The completeness check applies to permanent residence applications only. I have modified my post.
You may need re-modify your post again completeness check or complete applications check is also applicable to study permit applications grin grin

grin...Thanks, @Predator188, for pointing this out. Unlike permanent residence applications, the biometric comes before the completeness check.

Hello everyone, is it a big issue if I missed the passport submission deadline by 1 day. Will the visa still be issued? They didn't accept the passport from the courier today (12pm) saying they have closed and asked him to come back on Monday. And that will be one day after the 30 days deadline.

Bros take it easy on bullstriker.
No one is above mistake. You sound as if you have personal concerns with bullstriker. Besides the dude you are attacking has been on nairaland rendering help in this regard for more than 11 years before you joined nairaland.
I'm not against criticising people, but it's only prudent you do it constructively

I've been observing his/her comments for awhile now, they are always genuine attempts to distract, call people scammers or make condescending comments.

More power to his/her elbow.

Hello Fam,
What are some reasons one can capture in their sop for opting to do a post graduate certificate course and not a masters program. I will appreciate as many reasons as possible.

If you're referring to the time it takes for it to reflect as passed on your profile, that is untill IRCC processes it, mine was update to passed after a month of upfront medicals.
This is quite different from when IOM transmits it to IRCC.

My biometrics was transmitted same day I went for capturing, it's over a month and it's yet to change to passed on my profile.

Good luck.

Mine took 2 months for my medical to be updated to pass

You can apply for your form A request, don't panic.

The processing time is quite long, this is usually within 30 - 40 days so if you have an alternative or a deadline you might want to rethink.

Some people feel that smaller banks process faster than larger banks but I'm no sure how true that is.

Once you apply please ensure your account is funded from when it is approved till it's processed so it doesn't get rejected with insufficient funds as the reason - you will start all over and wait another 30-40days for it.

Good luck

First Bank declined mine after 1month of staying on the queue.

If you ask me I'll suggest you focus more on explaining why you chose your program, the perks and all as against why the you chose the qualification over another.

Do you mind stating the reason for the decline to educate others.

I know someone whose own was declined based on sudden account turnover, they claimed that he had never had such account inflow before so his sudden lump sums disqualified him. Again they are all tactics cos the demand is more than the available fx can cover.

I'm not certain about when funds should be available and for how long, however, I do know that you're to tender at least 4 - 6 months bank statement

In reference to your last question, I suppose you're using the old Portal. To validate your forms, click the validate icon on the form (I think it's at the top of the page) and it will auto validate, you don't need to print and sign them.

Good luck

Do you mean admission acceptance rate or visa approval rate?

Their admission from my experience took about 2-3weeks, not sure about visa approval rate and if that's even a thing i.e if visas are approved based on school of choice.

For address, check IOM and QLife centers in Lagos/Abuja, you will easily get that on Google.

Good luck.

I had submitted my documents at the branch earlier and it was approved, they debited the 5k service charge for Form A processing, and my application moved to ADB disbursement reviewer stage.

After 1month, I got someone to help me follow up with the application but I was told they do not process for diplomas and the transaction was declined. However, I did not see any notice or work note to that effect on the portal so I went to the processing branch.

According to what I was told at the branch today, FBN no longer processes tuition payments outside bachelor's,masters and PhD.
I called Firstcontact and I got the same response.

I wish there is a way to fight this injustice.
