Meaning for the benefit of those that are not Yorubas. A father and a child cannot farm together and not have demarcation. Tinubu is our tribe man no doubt but he will first favour his immediate family, then make his political family second before remembering that he has one tribe.

This particular issue you raised has been our greatest undoing and that had made Nigeria not to move forward because we place premium on tribe, religion and ethnic biases against nationality.
The ibos you trying to denigrate have even been favourably nationalistic than any tribe when it comes to voting pattern. They're the only tribe that doesn't vote for their people during presidential election out of all tribes in Nigeria. As loved as Ojukwu was to them. They rejected him in the poll and voted OBJ. Same they did against Orji Kalu when he contested in 2007 and voted Yar'adu. They did it against Moghalu in 2019 and voted Atiku. They have never voted massively in favour of their own as a president.

In this, the worst of all is the Fulanis and Hausas. Their own is my own and my own. Where as that took us to? Still a developing or struggling nation.

There is need to break away from this tribalistic voting pattern and face the reality.

During OBJ can anybody try that because he was personally monitoring everything and not only relying on report brought to him that can be doctored or half truth.

Yes, you can see every Yorubas as your brothers and sisters by mouth but not by sharing inheritance. If you're from Ogun, go to Osun state and tell them in any of their constituency that you want to vie for counselorship in their constituency on the premise that they are your brothers and sisters and see the feedback. This mouth of boda mi, egbon mi, aburo mi, anti mi that we do in yorubalnland only end within the mouth. I was in Ogun state on transfer last year and I know what I faced among people of my tribe.

And you think if Atiku or any other person wins, they will not favour their tribesmen more that those that are not of their tribe. You must be living in a planet called "Hallucinations" if you think so. Fact remains that OBJ is the only president in the recent Nigerian history that has favored more people of other ethnicity than those of his tribe. And OBJ is considered today a Yoruba man. Did you read what the guy said about NPA test? I've heard a similar story from a lady who once went for police test.

Nigeria is where you see tribalism played out everyday, even in the corporate sector. You can't pretend as if a problem doesn't exist if you really want to solve the problem. And to solve a problem, you need to look at the root cause. That's why a lot of people say the problem of the country is foundational and has to do with the forced union that gave birth to its existence. A marriage of over 60 years that is filled with everyday rancour and fights may never work.

The North continues to give birth like pigs and use their children who are always behind their southern counterparts in education to fill government ministries. They believe the ministries are meant for them and are the only place their children can thrive just because the FCT is in the North. Most ministries are cost centres, they contribute no value and have become epicenters of curruption. A lot of people there are lazy, they do nothing other than draining the scarce resources.

A lot of companies, most of which are in the South, are heavily taxed whilst the tax generated is used to pay the salaries of those in the ministries that do nothing. The South is being treated like slaves that are heavily taxed to pay their masters. Can't you smell coffee? That's why you see the country being highly indebted with little or nothing to show for it. The North doesn't want to do birth control and is not ready to engage its teeming population in productive activities. That act is also contributing to banditry.

SLS once warned them about the danger of thinking that federal ministries are their birth rights but they ignored and lampooned the guy. Let's see for how long they can continue to pay salaries of unproductive workers with scarce resources and borrowed funds. That is why you are where you are as a country. When the private sector is overdrained to the bliss of the unproductive public ministries, then the catastrophe will be high.

There are a lot of malpractices that can be associated with passing WAEC though. That was discovered years back with the introduction of post UTME. However, search the report of Times Higher Education for the past few years for the best universities in Nigeria and find out where they are situated. Again, search the internet for the names of the best 10 candidates in JAMB in recent years and check the concentration.

I don't have a support for any politician, at least not of any contemporary Nigerian politician. People can vote for whoever they like. It's their sovereignty. I don't have a support for any politician, at least not of any contemporary Nigerian politician. People can vote for whoever they like. It's their sovereignty. But for someone to attempt painting one politician black and making others look saintly is mere hypocrisy, especially when their stock in trade speaks otherwise.

To call someone bastard if they vote Obi while keeping silent and/or even endorsing those who masterminded the election of someone which led to more killing, raping, maiming of fellow mankind can only be part of the creed of the wicked.
