Don't allow any mechanic to lose your engine. Your car won't remain the same. I'm facing similar situation now.

Maybe the oil has over guage. Wait a while and observe it, then you can look for a professional mechanic not kazeem

your car valve seal is leaking oil inside the piston head . It needs replacement

Those that don't won car,will give u wrong advice. Its twi things,either top gasket ru er like circle has burnt or u have a leaky radiator,hose. Does your engine coolant t tempar6rise above middle,going to H(red sign) on dashboard. Pls and pls do not let mechanic lose your engine. It will never remain the same as factory. Check your radiator,on cold start sn the morning remove the top cover of the radiator,like silver like circle ,highest 0.1 cover. When u start it does the watter gush out without the radiator cover,if so,the n top gasket has burnt. Unless your engine knocks,mechanic has no business loosing the engine. Its either radiator or gasket. Highest 3 to 25k. If na radiator or na gasket. Gasket 2500,workmanship 5h to 1k radiator from 25k upwards,complete with fan. If your engine is aluminium, the n be getting ready to replace it,if its cast iron bulletproof,no wohala. Over heating,smoking engine. Culprit burnt gasket rubber,leaky radiator,hose.

The radiator is working really fine with the coolant in it. The car temperature never rises everything in the car seems to work so well only the smoke coming out is a concern and this is burning out the oil

Then its top cylinder valve seal. Highest 5k.or less. Pls visit mechanic tmrw but be ready to change engine soon

no loose engine oh.as e be say e start smoke after oil change Na either overgage, or valve head fix.

bro drive dat tin for a longer distance with steady acceleration, a journey of 2 or 3 hours, I bet u all de smoking will disappear

No. Since the car only smoke on start up after sitting for a while. Blue smoke from start up which disappear after a minute or two means worn out valve seal. No just give ur car to jst anyhow mechanic ooooooo

Before anything can be done, I go suggest make you try other mechanics around you and confirm finish.

Op don't let anyone open your engine ah beg you. Drive long distance it will clear as someone suggested. and I hope the oil change was not done in hot?. Another thing, enter pit check for oil leakage yourself. And hope you trust this mechanic very well those guys can be somehow atimes e fit don do one trick to chop you.

In the morning before you start the car pull out your dipstick,wipe it , reinsert it and pull it out again take a pic of the oil level and post. Your genius mechanic must have added too much oil or spill oil on the manifold

Op I was once in your shoe before, am using the same type of your car. Don't allow any road side mechanic to open your engine. this is what solved my problems, meet a good mechanic to use injector cleaner to flush the maniphone close to the air filter of the engine it will stop. Do this it will stop

I think the oil is too light and he definitely may have worn rings,why not add oil treatment to the oil to increase the viscosity and see how it goes

Only focus lon what was changed recently to know the probable cause of the problem.

The only thing messed with that can cause problem is adding too too much engine oil to the engine.

That is why he should check that first

Have experience and that’s what am talking out of although mine is a 2006 . You could hear him say he changed his spark plugs
