Igbos in Lagos will likely vote Sanwo-olu for Governor and Obi for President, they vote individuals and not Party, that's why Obasanjo defeated Ojukwu in 2003 in the South East because Igbos wanted Ojukwu as a kingmaker and not as a president, same way Tinubu should have supported Osinbajo who is loved in the south east and Obi's popularity would not have grown this big

Spot on.
If APC had fielded Osinbajo as its presidential candidate, while Labour Party fielded an Igbo like Orji Uzor Kalu, more than 90% of Igbos will vote Osinbajo for president next February.

At least now that Igbo leaders are supporting Tinubu, maybe Tinubu will not send his touts to disrupt Igbo voters in Lagos.

I hope they allow Igbos to vote in peace now.

Abi they will still prevent them from voting the Tinubu and Sanwolu that they have endorsed?

Who will you vote in peace? Can Yoruba people vote in peace in East? So no peace for Igbo’s who go against us in our land.

Igbos don't go against Yoruba in Yoruba land, same way Yorubas in Igbo land don't go against Igbos.
You must be prepared to be educated enough to differentiate between political choice and going against Yoruba.

It's not up to Tinubu to decide what Ibo does in Lagos. We provide a thriving environment for everybody, but it is up to leaders of a group to manage how their people respond to concerns of owners of Lagos. Onhanaeze has come to pay homage because Lagos, not Anambra is the source of their livelihood. Election result will not lie, we go know how each enclave and area in Lagos vote, and govt patronage is based on economic relevance. If you are relevant govt patronize you, if not then you will have to patronize govt. grin

"Igbo living and do business in Lagos' and so what? Does that take away their constitutional rights? I don't know how you guys reason at all. Growing up in Aba, I grew up with many Yorubas in the same street, in primary school, secondary school and university they were many Yorubas and nobody molested them or discriminated against them. But here in Lagos' Yorubas are always quick to remind non Yorubas that they are not indigens. Including those Yorubas whose generations have not paid taxes in their entire lives nor own a square meter of land. Every Nigeria has right to a candidate of his or her choice wherever their resident that's why it is called election and not selection. I live in Lagos and Wil never vote for Tinubu no matter the condition I will rather vote for Atiku. Yes Sanwo-olu I can vote him but if Ambode is the options I will go for Ambode.

This is just normal and how's it's supposed to be! They live and do business in Lagos...in Enugu, the Hausa community also did same to the governor when he was going for second tenor

Isn’t it silly that while people are talking about actions that are already carried out, like 2019 and even years before, the only evidence you have is somebody who issued threat that he’s yet to carry out?

And is that guy Igbo?

Did that happen in Southeast?
